My Ugly Scar from Appendectomy Surgery (35 Years Ago) Was Finally Removed by the BEST Doctor! - Bryn Mawr, PA

I had this old ugly scar from my appendectomy when I was 14 years old in Japan. The scar had been becoming uglier and uglier and as I aged it became more prominent as some fat accumulated around the scar making the section bulging up. I was feeling embarrassed in bikinis and also when I wore thin dress you could see the bump, too. I kept thinking about the removal last several years but I was afraid of the cost and outcome if it becomes worse, etc. I discussed with my family doctor and she recommended a plastic surgeon in the area. I originally called that doctor’s office but they recommended Dr. Jean if I was looking for scar revision, so I visited him for consultation. That was the best decision I made. Dr. Jean inspected my scar and explained to me what he would do and what outcome I would have, and he and his assistant gave me detailed estimate for me. The scar tissues were attached on the muscles beneath. The total cost was something I could afford, too. The surgery went extremely smooth, anesthesia went perfect, the scar was removed beautifully (also detached from the muscles), and the pain after the surgery was not bad. Dr. Jean also performed small liposuction to make the belly look even. The doctor has been seeing me periodically to check the scar recovery ever since (the visits are all included in the cost!). I am so happy that I could finally live without the ugly and annoying belly scar and bump. Dr. Jean’s technique was amazing and I am extremely happy that he was my surgeon. I only regret that I had not done this much earlier. In the future, If/when I need any scar revision and cosmetic surgeries, I will definitely want Dr. Jean to take care of me, and I will recommend Dr. Jean to anyone who is looking for the best plastic surgeon.
