To begin, I am a nurse practitioner who has spent many yrs working in the OR with surgeons so I did my research and knew who I could trust to perform my eyelids surgery. My husband(who is also a surgeon) did not support my decision to have surgery. He said my eyes were not bad enough to go under the knife and that my eyes were still beautiful-that is what a loving husband is suppose to say. My eyes were always my best feature and people complimented me on them all the time but with the aging process I noticed that my "bright and big blue eyes" were looking more tired and not so bright.

I have been going to Dr. Lee for many years for my botox and filler treatments. During one of these visits, I told him that I was not happy with the appearance and wanted to discuss some surgery options. I asked whether a brow lift along with the upper lids procedure would be a good option for me. He recommended on holding off on the brow procedure and to focus on the eyelids. He pointed out that due to my right brow being a little lower then my left, my crease or fold was lower height on that side. He gave me the option to just use my natural crease and just remove some excess skin which would be an easier recovery or have the option he recommended which would require adjusting my natural eyelids crease to a different height- basically, raising my right eyelid crease to match the height of my left . I liked that he pointed out such detailed aspect of my anatomy that I didn't even notice. He explained that the post op would be tough due to swelling if I went with the more involved procedure then just the skin removal option- along with a higher cost. I told him to just perform whatever he felt was necessary to give me the best outcome because I trusted him completely.

My husband after seeing my result has referred countless patients and also OR nurses he operates with and they have all been very happy with their surgery outcomes. I personally, referred 2 very close friends who already had surgery with Dr. Lee- one had her upper lids, lower lids, and brow and the other had just the upper lids and brow procedures(can't believe how quickly she recovered- she looked amazing when I saw her 9 days out which is shocking after a brow procedure and making me wonder if I should have had it too despite what Dr. Lee recommended?) and they are thrilled with their results. I have another close friend who is scheduling her lower and upper lids surgery in the winter too. When people compliment me on my eyes now, I turn around and say "thanks to Dr. Lee" and the conversation begins...
