Feeling completely back to normal

WORTH IT$3,500
Decided to take it easy for a couple of weeks but I was back to the gym today and feeling great. I feel like I've never had surgery. I also feel like my implants are the perfect size as not too heavy and not getting in the way which I was worried about. I was able to use leg machines and cycling on the bike as my dr advised no upper body exercise for 1 month post op. Bruising and tenderness completely gone now :)

I am 22 years old and wanted surgery since I was about 16. I have always been petite and small chested so always felt insecure about it, I was barely a 32A and a size uk 4 US 0 in a bikini top. I'm 5ft 3, and 8 stone so wanted implants that wouldn't look too big. I wanted to feel more confident and be curvey after being mocked by other girls. I am into fitness so any body fat I did have is very minimal which has made my boobs even smaller. I hope to compete in figure physique competitions and the aim is lean, petite with curves so the only way to achieve this was breast enlargement. I had an initial consultation In London which was off putting but my friend said to not worry about it and go ahead anyway as she had had the surgery in Belgium and reassured me it was a good clinic. And the amount of money I saved was definitely worth it. I managed to get cheap flights and hotel and the flight was only 45 minutes. Having my mum with me was a god send and you definitely need someone with you especially to help after the surgery. We stayed at the closest hotel to the clinic to avoid taxis as taxis are very expensive but it was very easy to get to the hotel by train from the airport, we also went into Brussels to do some sight seeing and shopping the night before my surgery which kept my mind off the worrying. When we arrived at the clinic at 9am the place really was beautiful and professional staff. Although we waited until 10:30 I think the receptionist forgot we were there waiting! Finally I went down to ask if they were ready for me and I was told to change into a dressing gown slippers and hat before going into my consultation with dr Ulens. She was a lovely lady and very professional and assured me we wouldn't rush but take our time with the decision. However because I felt stressed and nervous I do think I rushed my choice of implant. Luckily I had been to another consultation with Harley medical group to try on sizers to know what would suit me and at that consultation I decided on 300cc high profile. Dr Ulens did some measurements and photos and drew on me. She was very realistic about it looking natural and advised it needed to be the right width for my chest wall, as my chest wall was narrow she advised the maximum size I could have was either 260cc moderate which are a lot wider, or 360 high profile: I opted for 305 high profile. She said moderate are more natural with a sloping but I wanted the more pert look and to get more volume 260 wouldn't make much difference to me and I would have been around a 32B, but with 305cc I should be a 32C. I then met the anaesthetist who asked me questions and reassured my questions (would I wake up during surgery lol) which is an obvious no. He then took me downstairs for the surgery I wasn't nervous until I saw the surgery table and a women coming out of surgery; I had a panic attack and I came out in a stress rash but the nurses were very calming and reassuring I laid down on the warm bed, and was prepped for surgery I started to feel dizzy with an oxygen mask over my face and I was soon asleep. I then woke up wrapped in warm blankets but with a crushing pain sensation the first thing I did was felt that I had boobs which was bizarre. The anasthetic guy soon came over to put more pain medication in my drip and the nurse stroked my head which was very nice and comforting and asked if I was ok, I asked for water as I had a very dry mouth after the surgery but I was told I had to wait. I kept asking to see my mum as I was very scared but I was soon taken upstairs to recovery, the nurse went to get my mum and I heard her come down but once again the receptionist didn't know what was going on and told my mum I wasn't allowed to see her yet even though the nurse said she could so she argued with her then she was allowed in. I felt very drowsy and felt very demanding as I kept asking the nurse to move my recliner chair into a comfortable position but she was very nice about it. I sat there looking out to the beautiful gardens they have. Another lady had also had her surgery that morning and was packing up to leave but I had to wait an hour or so to feel normal. I was finally allowed some water and then I asked to go home, they took my drip out made sure I wasn't dizzy and I was able to get dressed with the help of my mum and get a taxi back to the hotel. The surgeon was lovely and so nice and came down to see me off and said the surgery went well and wished me the best for my recovery, the clinic gave me pain killers and muscle relaxant tablets for free and they called me w taxi. I was sick a couple of times once I was back at the hotel and I was in and out of sleep for that night and finally kept some food down in the evening. The hotel pillows were quite flat so I wished I'd asked for more pillows as I was led almost flat which made it very painful to get back up again, my mum had to pull me out of bed. The next day the flight home was manageable apart from the fact I couldn't carry bags, or lift the trays in security so people were looking at me weird. So I'm glad my mum was there to do everything for me. Muscle spasms were bad and the pain was worse around my ribs. But once I was home things got much better, day 4 I was completely off the pain med and things were a lot easier. I was back to work day 6 at my office job, and that week I did a lot of my Christmas shopping although I had to keep sitting down and was out of breath going up stairs. I am amazed at how quick the recovery was and the clinic answered any of my questions by email very quickly. I had bruising which has now gone and they are no longer swollen as it has been 2 weeks. I went to get the stitches cut by a UK nurse and she said the stitches were done very well and I am amazed at how neat and tidy the incisions look. Although because of the compressions sports bra I have had to wear day and night until a month after surgery I have had w skin infection from the friction of the bra but not near the incision, so I have been given some antibiotic cream. If you feel friction I recommend putting cotton wool between the skin and sports bra. I am very happy with my results and would definitely recommend clinic BeauCare and Dr Ulens

Hey there! I am planning on getting a breast augmentation in September. I have made an appt on June 5th for my first consultation. I am trying to do as much research as possible on Beaucare clinic before I decide to book my surgery. Are there any things you would have done differently looking back on your experience? Was flying back to London hard to do the next day or do you suggest staying an extra day? After your consultation were you having second thoughts?
