I was told my procedure would be simple, easy, quick with minimal bruising

1/13/20- I had an insecurity; Blackledge suggested I have a small procedure to fix it. I questioned but considered. Blackledge completely watered down the description of the procedure which influenced my decision to go forward with the surgery. I was told my procedure would be simple, easy, quick with minimal bruising and a small incision closed with a couple of stitches, which you can see is not at all what I received. My mother was in the waiting room while I received the surgery. Blackledge had every opportunity to ask for her opinion and permission to cut further than originally agreed upon, but of course he didn’t. He performed more than consented to. I left the surgery with a 6 inch incision and 13 staples in my head. I am now left with paralysis of the right side of my forehead, permanent hair loss, and have had 2 revision surgeries. Blackledge is not a board certified plastic surgeon. I did not know this before but you should. Consider this when making your decision on who you trust to make cosmetic changes to your body or face.
