Dimmed my light and happiness

Adam Scheiner is Not a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Adam Scheiner is not a board certified plastic surgeon. He is an ophthalmologist who uses one interview on Dr. Oz to market himself as a famous ocularplastic surgeon. Note that Dr. Oz was cancelled after a multi-million dollar lawsuit for fraudulently marketing weight loss pills. Scheiner charges double the price of other surgeons for the same procedures. In addition to Real Self, he has reviews on Healthgrades and Vitals. I urge you to listen to the negative reviews and do your own research on his background before you invest thousands of dollars and put your face into Scheiner's unskilled hands. I wish someone would have warned me but it's too late. I'm left with alopecia, nerve damage, visible scars, uneven features, dark undereyes and a receeding hairline that ruined my pretty oval face. The emotional scars are far worse. I was a bright and shining woman who loved life and he has dimmed my light and happiness. I deal with daily regret. Please don't make the same mistake.

More balding and PTSD

Bright601624
I have connected with others who have used this doctor and I'm not alone. I wanted to add additional photos that document my story. The incision that reopened at 5 weeks left a wide scar. Hair loss has continued & I'm balding. A doctor said that spot could be pulled together to create a smaller scar and bring my hair closer. I cut a face framing pixie by pulling my hair forward which has at least helped to cover the bald spot and the scars on my temples. I'm still struggling to face other people. I spend most of my time at home as I'm dealing with PTSD due to the emotional trauma. I am working with a PTSD therapist. I wouldn't wish this on anybody. I trusted this person and he breached his duty of care. I hope these pictures and my story helps somebody.
