Terrible Experience

Saw Dr. Mustoe about about removing some fat from the center of my forehead, he recommended doing a brow lift. I agreed since I had some vacation time coming up. 6 months after the surgery almost all of the swelling subsided and the fat that should have been removed was still there, also I realized that he added more fat above my right eyebrow that I thought was swelling, also brows were not lifted which explains why I didn't feel any tightness after the surgery.

Went through the whole surgery and recovery for nothing!

Dr. Mustoe told me for additional $2,000 he was going to do liposuction to the forehead again and again I agreed.

Huge mistake, as soon as the swelling was subsiding I noticed it started to look really botched.

It looked like he took a quarter inch scraper and scraped right next to my right eyebrow goin about an inch and a half towards my hairline, also there was more fat injected on that side which makes it even worse, also some fat was injected right above my left eyebrow right next to the small crease that makes it look like a permanent frown.

As devestated as I was when I went to see Dr. Mustoe his behavior was even more shocking. Instead of admiting that he did something wrong he turned it around acting like he doesnt know what I am talking about and also telling me how my forehead will never look as good as his.

As that wasn't enough he even said something about cutting above my eyelids to cut the muscle which was the same thing he told me before the brow lift, as we heaven't been through that.

After four months I have seen 2 more doctors and both told me that I just need liposuction to remove all that fat that was injected some that was already there and some that Dr. Mustoe injected and now I have to pay more money.

I demanded a refund from Dr. Mustoe for having to go though all those surgeries and botching my forehead.

After sending me a formal letter and only offering me barely a half of what I paid with some lame excuses I sent him a letter and debunked every single one of those lame excuses demanding a full refund. His reply was that he would.

Next I received email from the office manager Lori regarding this settlement saying how they want my reviews removed and than they will send me a check with a release form.

I clearly told her that I require a docusign and funds up front before I sign.

Instead she she sent me this typed up contract with a complete gag order and telling me once I sign it and I will get paid 30 days after I remove my reviews.

Dr. Mustoe's signature was not on the release.

If I signed that and returned it, not only would I not be able to sue or speak about this and without my review I have no leverage. Since Dr Mustoe did not sign it, there is a great chance that he wouldn't pay me. Why would he if I signed the release that I can"t sue and my reviews were deleted in that case I would have been done.

I used to evict none paying tenant so the good thing is I know something about the law.

I would like this to be a warning to others, Please see more than one doctor and get more opinions before you make your final choice.

This is not defamation to the doctor I am the one who has to walk around like this until this gets fixed.
