14 months post op - Brow lift leads to chronic pain

ORIGINAL POST

Brow Lift Leads to Chronic Pain

I had a brow lift 14 months ago. I have been in pain ever since with constant headaches and topical pain in the area surrounding the incision. The pain has never left. The doctor who performed the surgery is unable to determine what is causing the pain. I am still very much trying to find a resolution....I never anticipated that this procedure would lead to pain for the rest of my life.

I am 4 months post op and am experiencing horrible pain as well. I used a surgeon on the west coast and live on the east coast so this has been a very frightening time for me. Especially with no follow up care. He dismisses my concerns. Now he is claiming it is neuropathic pain but wanted me to see a doctor who specializes in TMJ pain. Really ? Also the doctor gets bad reviews and took 3.5 weeks to call back to even try to set up an appointment. No thank you. I also hate the way it looks, my forehead is dented in at the temples, my incisions are lumpy and I have hair loss and a raised hairline. It makes my upper eyelids look hollow. I absolutely regret this surgery along with the other procedures I had done by this supposed best of the best surgeons.
Im so sorry you are experiencing this. Thank you for sharing to help others.
