Dr Enoz in Istanbul Saved my nose !!

I have a thick skin bulbous nose. My first rhino...
WORTH IT$3,815
I have a thick skin bulbous nose. My first rhino was in year 2000 in Brisbane.
The outcome was not very good. In 2016 I found a senior, experienced in rhinoplasty revision surgeon in Brisbane.
He thought he could create me a more defined nose. The first surgery was not a success. He said that there was so much scar tissue there and my thick skin was a problem. He re operated for free early 2017.
This time the outcome was only slightly better. My tip has no support at all. I don't know why he did not use a craft from my ear or my rib !
I have come to a conclusion that there aren't skilled enough revision rhinoplasty surgeons in Australia who can help me. I fee very distressed and depressed about my nose.
I have been looking overseas. The best surgeon I have found and I think I would trust is Dr Lucian Ion.
But ironically, he does not take any new revision patients anymore.
So, I am looking for a very trusted revision surgeon in Europe. Its so scary to trust someone so far away. Therefore I am looking for feedback from people with a similar nose/situation.

Richard Davis in florida. He has an age cut off though, and a year long wait list.

He doesn't operate on people over a certain age because the rib begins to calcify.

Really I have never heard of that.Im 54 and Lucian said he might have to use rib with my revision but luckily he didnt have to.

It can still be used but it gets harder with calcification. I think he just wanted to reduce his wait list by adding an age cut off

"As we age, the cartilage portion of the rib cage becomes calcified and eventually actually turns to bone. This process is typically complete at age 55"

I am so curious to find out why. I will ask him face to face and see what he says as I am sure he will tell the truth.

how about george marcells in sydney?

I don't have any experience with him. But he's meant to specialise in rhinos w rib. I think you should consult with him before going overseas.

I Found The One
Hi All,
21/7/19 I got my nose operated by Dr Murat Enoz. I traveled all the way from Australia. I cannot speak highly enough about him as a person and as an outstanding surgeon who loves what he does.

Update on my thick skin revision by Dr Murat Enoz.
Added the front photo (about 6 weeks post op). Lots of swelling on the tip still and scar bump tissue in the right nostril. Will be getting some cortisone injections on the tip in the next 4 weeks or so.

Looks great! Just wondering if you consulted with any surgeons in AU? What made you choose your doc? I have the same issue - very thick skin, and just recently had a revision which was not 100% what I was hoping for.
Did you consider any surgeons from other countries as well?

Not sure where you saw that "not worth it" maybe I was talking about my first rhino in Brisbane.....Dr Enoz was amazing !!!!!

Just to add, "not worth it' is for the surgeon in Brisbane. I Highly recommend Dr Enoz for revision !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi again, sorry don’t mean to pester you but would really help me if you could post an updated picture of your nose, your 6 week post op was nice so must be even better now :)
"It is correct that Mr Ion is no longer taking on Secondary Rhinoplasty patients.
I would recommend looking for a secondary rhinoplasty specialist from the members of the Rhinoplasty Societies of Europe, US and UK.
