Although I did not have any work done by this doctor, out of 4 cosmetic surgeons I have consulted with over the years, he was by far the most professional. There is no rush, no fuss, just you and Dr Thiele sitting in his office. He made me feel very at ease, and answered all of my questions. I have had minor procedures in the past, but for something more serious I wanted to shop around for someone I felt I could trust. This is a doctor I feel I would be happy to proceed with surgery with should I plan to go ahead with it.
Like most people on here this procedure has been on the wish list for a very long time. I am currently counting down to my surgery date and am very excited. I am 40 years old and a mum of two, I would say I am slim to average build. I am looking at 400cc implants and a lift but will make my final decision at my pre surgery appointment next week. Watch this space. Updated on 23 Nov 2013: I have done the rice test, this is the pictures that look like I have boobs. Testing for size 400cc to try and get some idea how they will look. Updated on 26 Nov 2013: Its all systems go at home with only one week to go! Getting very excited and can"t believe it is actually happening... I have paid for everything except the hospital admission and will be having my pre-op appointment in two days. I have been busy grocery shopping, preparing meals and baking birthday cakes! I decided to bake ahead of time as I am making several large cakes and this is tiring at the best of times, anything to keep busy and not have time to worry/stress/panic etc!!! Updated on 27 Nov 2013: Just finished visiting my PS and he advised 400cc would be too big for my frame and existing breast tissue, the size chosen is now 370cc mentor high profile silicone placed under the muscle, i will not need a huge lift but nipples will be repositioned! BTW the high profile mentor are equal to moderate profile in other brands. Very excited to now be counting down off to fill my prescriptions! Updated on 3 Dec 2013: I am ready to go, will be heading off in only 13 hours, I am first on the list so no time to hang around and have a panic attack! I have cooked, cleaned, filled prescriptions and gone to work as well so an early night for me I am exhausted xx Updated on 3 Dec 2013: I am five and a half hours post op all went well, very swollen at the moment and unsteady on my feet They llok huge in this puc as rhere is lots of padding under the bandages. will keep up the pain meds as I am sure i will be feeling it tomorrow! Updated on 3 Dec 2013: Picture Updated on 4 Dec 2013: This was approx. six hours after surgery, I woke up in some pain and was given something to make me go back to sleep! The first night was ok I set my alarm and woke up to take pain meds. A little discomfort today but mostly just feeling stiff, I am actually amazed at how good I am feeling. Just have sweaty boobs from our sub tropical Brisbane weather. Of course I am huge but there is padding under the bandages also. I get bandages off in a few days can't wait to see what is actually under there!! Updated on 8 Dec 2013: A great day today, five days post op went to see my PS for the big reveal, I am very happy with the result. I have a blister on my right breast from steristrip rubbing but nothing to cause concern. I am still very swollen and weeks away from seeing something that is closer to the final result. It was awesome to have a proper shower the second highlight of my day!!! Back to my PS at the end of the week to have steristrips removed. Updated on 13 Mar 2018: I recently read my profile and realised I had no after photos so a long time after here they are Updated on 14 Mar 2018: This is the healed result some years later I still think it was worth it and would do it again
Have wanted a breast enlargement for several years now, and with weight gain and loss over the years and terrible PMS resulting in swollen breasts for a couple of weeks each month, my C cup boobs were in my opinion soft and saggy. The procedure went really well and so far I have not been in any pain. Updated on 11 Nov 2013: I had my post-op check up today and viewed my new boobies for the first time, everything is going well and I am healing nicely. I am quite bruised at the bottom of each breast and I noticed that I don't have much to any sensation in either nipple, I hope that improves over time. I am still quite bloated it seems to come and go so I am wondering if it is fluid in my body. I am moving country tomorrow so will be keeping in touch with my surgeon via email and photos. I have to take my steri-strips off on Friday and replace every day for a week, and start massaging the sides and tops of each breast to help them soften. I don't have much swelling apparently so this will hopefully be the size I will end up with, I hope that is the case as I love this size and think they are perfect, they are sitting high and need to settle over the next couple of months. I can start rubbing bio-oil into the scars in a week or so. Overall I am very pleased with the result, loved trying on the dress I bought pre-surgery to see how well I filled it :) Updated on 19 Nov 2013: I have taken the strips off a couple of days earlier than my PS advised as they were starting to really irritate my skin. I have seriously swollen and sore nipples which have gotten worse over past couple of days, you can push them in and feel the fluid (I think anyway,) I hope this is normal, I'm about to email my PS about it and I'm flying back to Brisbane in a few weeks so will see him for a post-op appointment then. I'm really missing exercise and starting to feel quite run down but I am too scared at the moment of causing my boobs unnecessary movement to do anything, walking really hurts my nipples after about half an hour. My right breast is having a harder time at healing than my left but otherwise I think everything is going okay. Updated on 19 Nov 2013: Forgot to mention one nipple is bigger than the other - here's hoping they even out over time?!
I have a thick skin bulbous nose. My first rhino was in year 2000 in Brisbane. The outcome was not very good. In 2016 I found a senior, experienced in rhinoplasty revision surgeon in Brisbane. He thought he could create me a more defined nose. The first surgery was not a success. He said that there was so much scar tissue there and my thick skin was a problem. He re operated for free early 2017. This time the outcome was only slightly better. My tip has no support at all. I don't know why he did not use a craft from my ear or my rib ! I have come to a conclusion that there aren't skilled enough revision rhinoplasty surgeons in Australia who can help me. I fee very distressed and depressed about my nose. I have been looking overseas. The best surgeon I have found and I think I would trust is Dr Lucian Ion. But ironically, he does not take any new revision patients anymore. So, I am looking for a very trusted revision surgeon in Europe. Its so scary to trust someone so far away. Therefore I am looking for feedback from people with a similar nose/situation. Updated on 27 Aug 2019: Hi All, 21/7/19 I got my nose operated by Dr Murat Enoz. I traveled all the way from Australia. I cannot speak highly enough about him as a person and as an outstanding surgeon who loves what he does. Updated on 4 Sep 2019: Added the front photo (about 6 weeks post op). Lots of swelling on the tip still and scar bump tissue in the right nostril. Will be getting some cortisone injections on the tip in the next 4 weeks or so. Updated on 6 Feb 2021: Here some photos taken in February 21. I am still very happy with Dr Enoz and his amazing job. I highly recommend him for revision surgery. My nose is not perfect but 100 times better what it was after butchered by Australian surgeons.
