For many years, I have been highly motivated to find a solution to my acne scars, which I have had since my late teens. Those with acne scars know how it can greatly affect our confidence and self esteem, and sometimes there is that feeling of hopelessness with what seems to be a permanent issue. I have previously tried a series of micro-dermabrasions through one cosmetic clinic in Brisbane, followed years later by another series of treatments with a second cosmetic clinic, also in Brisbane. Unfortunately, neither of these approaches produced any noticeable results and it was incredibly frustrating. I did have some small success with home skin needling, though. But still, the scars where there.
But, finally, all of this frustration quickly became a thing of the past following my very first treatment with Dr. Davin Lim. After some research on my part, it readily became apparent that Dr. Lim is a world leader in the treatment of acne scars. What I also realised to be such a huge difference is that Dr. Lim is a specialist dermatologist in this area, and so much more knowledgable and skilled in the field of acne scars above and beyond the general cosmetic GPs I had previously approached.
Once I met Davin in person, I was quickly amazed at how incredibly approachable, professional and friendly he truly is. Davin assessed my scarring situation and laid out a realistic long term plan to tackle this personal issue with both tried and tested - and state of the art - solutions. Never once did I feel condescended to in any way, and I was equally amazed and pleased to feel that Davin was always on my side at all times, always moving ahead with my best interests in mind. He also clearly described every expected outcome and recovery time with amazing accuracy. After so many years of searching for possible answers, I can't tell you how relieving it was to find an expert with the skills, desire and patience to make such a positive difference!
So in my case, and over a period of the last 6 months, Dr. Lim has used full face ablative lasers (C02 + Erbium), Fractional C02, dermal fillers, Picosure lasers, and the brand new Infini RF on my skin. Every different laser and technique used has shown me a new improvement - to the point I would happily say I am now between 80 - 90 percent overall improvement. From where I was to now, this to me is incredible.
If you are suffering with scars and looking for solutions, I really suggest stop wasting your time with so many of those other lesser options, like I also did. A friendly consultation with Dr. Lim could change your life so much for the better.
