Burned Fraxel Face, Denied After Care and Melasma for Life!

ORIGINAL POST

Dr. S. Manjula Jegasothy burned my face with...

Tatigirl
$800

Dr. S. Manjula Jegasothy burned my face with Fraxel laser in 2007, Miami, FL office at Brickell Avenue.

I went under 2 laser procedure to improve some very light acne scar from my teenage years.

But she had no clue about Fraxel laser side effects! Specially when applied on my once beautiful, young health looking Brazilian Asian/Latin face.

She charged me $800 p/ visit.

She used to rent the Fraxel machine since she did not owed any at the time in her office.

During my second visit, while she was doing the fraxel on my face, I told her that I was felling a burning sensation. She said "it's normal". But since it was really burning me I removed my face under her hands for her to stop using the device in my face at that moment.

On the same day and days after my cheeks began to show tinny purple stains in the burned areas.

I felt a deep burning sensation inside my cheeks, like you do when burned.

I immediately called her office to speak to her.

However, she did not answered!

Instead, her staff told me to put cortisone cream in the purple areas.

So I did but nothing helped!

So I went to back to her office a few times after since the purple stains began growing in my cheek. But she still refused to see me!

In fact, after she burned my face and took my money, she never saw me again!

So here I'm today doctor Manjula Jegasothy!

Her staff kept answering on her behalf for a few weeks but they also stopped answering my calls or began to put me in long holds until I hang up.

Doctor never had decency or professionalism to either see me face to face after her laser burning fiasco.

It's 2017 and my melasma is more severe then ever before!

It's been over 10 years of suffering w/ ugliness, hats, sunglasses, sunblocks and many many different doctors and tons of melasma creams.

All thanks to Dr. S. Manjula Jegasothy lousy hands and bad laser judgment!

Like I went to 3rd world doctor in USA and paid for her to burn me deep into my epiderm.

She is terrible cosmetic dermatologist, extremely unprofessional and clueless in so many ways about Asian & Latin Brazilian skin and Fraxel laser procedures. Not to mention rude! Including her staff! Remember... after they receive your payments they'll turn on you too, specially when she commits another mistake in your face!

Be aware of Manjula Jegasothy.

I will never recommend her to anyone who is looking to improve their face in any way!

However if you fell like paying to get burn w/ laser then mistreated and developing deep melasma issues for the rest of your life, she is definitely the right doctor for you!

We are quite perplexed as to why you would write a review from 2007 in 2017. We have had no incidents of patients dissatisfied with our Fraxel® procedure and ALWAYS follow up with all of our patients who are ever dissatisfied for any reason, which is rare.

I completely understand why she wrote it, it's because she's still dealing with what happen to her. I too had laser damage in 07 & I'm still looking for answers to help my skin after spending over 40,000.00 in all those years trying to make it look better. But it seems once your damaged there really isn't much you can do. She's trying to warn us since your still in business, for that I thank her because my doctor who did this to me was Dr Michael Jasin in Tampa & he now he's gone. Retired on all the money he took from damaging people. Maybe you should reach out to her & help. Send her a message or pay her back for the procedure. I'm sure she's not making it up. There is a lot of laser damage that I'm sure you know about being a doctor who does this. I noticed a lot of doctors now stopped using laser because of it. You have no idea what it's like to have good skin one day then after a treatment have skin that you don't want anyone to see. It's a living nightmare. I once was out going & happy, now I'm a hermit.

Probably because she didn't know this site back in 2007, and is now fed up with the mess you made after 10 years of suffering.
