So after my 6 weeks I was happy with the contouring that took place from the aqualipo but my skin never tightened up. In fact it looked worse than previously because there was nothing in there. My idea of loose skin was also very different than their idea of loose skin. To me having folds that hung over was not "loose" skin, that's hanging folds of skin. I was pretty unhappy with the results, over all and decided to have a consultation with Dr. Greco regarding where we went from here. In the end, I did have a "skin only" tummy tuck and now I am super pleased. I will write a separate review for that.
I can say that I am happy I had the aqualipo prior to the tummy tuck. My only regrets is 1) I didn't ask to speak with the Dr. Emerson prior to the day of surgery. I believe he would have confirmed that I needed a tummy tuck to get the results I desired and I could have made more appropriate plans.

Slow but steady changes week three
FaerymoonDecember 15, 2015
Tomorrow is my three week postop date, and I am starting to see continued progress. It's not super fast but it is noticeable The skin is starting to tighten up a little bit but there's a lot more to go and hopefully my body will cooperate.

I'm curious too. After my procedure, I was left with saggy skin in my lower abs. I was not told this could happen due to my pregnancy stretch marks that were 24 years old. I didn't have a ton but enough to bother me. I've started working out again and decided to do the ultrasonic cavi-lipo on my love handles, hips and outer thighs. I've had one treatment so far and I can tell things are firmer. She tech said cavi lipo can help with skin tightening too, so I'm going to do my abs next. She briefly concentrated on my abs for part of my first session and I can tell on that side that the skin is tighter. Since this is a series of treatments, I have to wait to finish my first areas before I do my abs. But I decided, it's worth a try. It's definitely an alternative to a tummy tuck that I had been thinking about. Anything that avoids that scar is worth it to me.
I'm going to load some collage pics to my profile that I put together if you want to see.

Week 2 Update
FaerymoonDecember 10, 2015
For certain, I have seen some changes taken place this week. Im swelling a lot less, though like most people, it's goes up and down through the day. I have been making sure Im drinking plenty of fluids, using sea salt scrubs on my belly ( the incisions are all closed now) and using good oils twice a day to help with the skin retraction. The medium CG started off pretty uncomfortable but now feels fine in just a little under a week, so maybe there's hope that I'll get in that small yet! :)
While I am still seeing quite a bit of hanging skin, it's has retracted some and my upper abs feel flat. So Im trying to practice patience. I also returned to the dance studio last night which was awesome feeling. I miss my time in the studio, and sitting at home was doing no Bueno on my tight hips. I didn't have any problem doing my normal 2.5 hours of classes, which I was stoked about.
I've decided that Im obsessing a little too much on the pictures, so I've decided not to post any this week, rather, I will post one on the third week. Other than the loose skin I feel great

Sorry to hear that. Mine's actually starting to look better this week. I didn't want a tummy tuck because I am an aerialist and pole dancer and a tummy tuck would not only set me back 8 weeks in recovery, I'd have to spend a year rebuilding my core again. That is just not acceptable for me, so Im wrapped bound and hoping that this tightens up even more in the coming weeks. Good luck with your tummy tuck, I guess I will be facing that decision in 9 more weeks if this doesn't tighten enough for me.
