Worth Every Moment - they went above and beyond!

I spent a while searching for a provider that I felt fit my ideals and what I wanted from this experience. I saw my primary doctor and she sent over a referral for me once I decided on Dr Stevenson. I was called shortly after to set up a consultation and it was quick and easy. I met with Dr Stevenson and knew right away that she was the provider I wanted to go with. She is such a kind soul and knew exactly the outcome I wanted from this surgery. She was extremely attentive to my concerns and answered every single question I threw at her, no matter how silly I thought the question was. Her staff was so quick to get back to me after getting my insurance approval and during my follow up consultation, we scheduled my surgery for the Fall. I met with Dr Stevenson one more time before the surgery and again, she calmed all my fears and nervous energy. I knew I was in good hands with her the entire time. It was my first surgery and I trusted her and her team 100% to take care of me, and they went above and beyond! I received a call that night checking up on me, and I almost cried because of how caring and kind Dr Stevenson is. I met with her several times after that, and we were both in love with the results!

There was minor pain, but it was well controlled and was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The medications were very well explained to me, as well as my boyfriend on the day of the procedure, as he took me to the hospital and was the main support after the procedure. I feel like I have so much more freedom and so much less pain now. I did have pain upon waking up, which was expected by the recovery nurses and immediately resolved, which I was so grateful for. I was out of recovery pretty quickly after waking up, and was able to get dressed and go home. Despite the pain when I woke up, I immediately felt a sense of relief and SO much less pressure on my neck and shoulders.

This procedure and the freedom I now have were both worth every step of this, even through all the nervous energy and fears I had.
