I just wanted to post a final time on here! I am now almost a year post opp and still very happy with my results. I have lost some weight since surgery but it has not affected the size of my breasts. Anyone considering this surgery I hope you decide to move forward and get your relief!

Breast Reduction

I have been chesty since high school, as I got older I gained weight but my breasts gained the bulk of it. Shopping for bras became impossible, finding shirts/dresses that fit was a nightmare, often resulting in purchasing baggier clothes. Baggy clothes + giant breasts means looking even heavier than you are. I was fortunate not to have much in the way of back pain, but nonetheless, I knew I needed a change.
This site helped me so much, I feel I owe everyone else looking to get this done my insight. I looked for surgeons nonstop for months, looking at all of their before and after pictures, when I came across Dr. Cohen I knew he was the one. He had the most photos of any surgeon I found and his results were incredible. He is the only surgeon I consulted with.
I was a G cup and told him I wanted to stay in the D range, he suggest a full C/D and I let him decide where he thought I would best be fitted. I'm a D cup now.
Surgery was about 4 hours, he took off 4 lbs of tissue total. Luckily my heating process was hitch free. The first week, moving sucks, it's hard to get out of bed, moving your arms is hard. You can shower after 48 hours but I honestly avoided it as long as possible because I was nervous about water touching anything. I had my mom wash my hair in the sink! By week 2 I got some mobility back, and was able to walk around, shower etc, things got better after that point. The pictures are about 4 weeks after surgery and 2 months after surgery.
BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. It is crazy to be able to take off my bra and not have my breasts sweeping the floor. Do yourself a favor and don't wait to have this done. It has the highest satisfaction of all plastic surgery for a reason. Feel free to ask me any questions!

I totally agree, I had large implants for almost 20 years!! Yes needed a lift back then$! I recently had the lift done and smaller implants. It feels so good to feel normal.
