2022 - Revision Imminent

Boobs look fine and scarring isn't great but I could live with it but my size is still unmanageable. Went from a U.S. I/j to a G. Basically my surgeon gave me a lift and not a reduction. Super angry and upset and hurt. It cost so much money and I was so upset when I was told I wouldn't get any smaller. Huge disappointment.
Found out in December that Dr. Arora suddenly retired and that he might have known he was going to so he "played it safe" with me and only gave me a lift. Such BS.

I’m sorry to hear about your disappointment. A lollipop lift typically does not reduce your size and if it does it’s not very much. It’s more of just a left. In order to get size taken out, you would have needed a reduction. It’s too bad he didn’t tell you what the difference was.

There is such a thing as a lollipop reduction. I did not ask for a lollipop lift and he just did what he thought was appropriate for my body and only reduced a minimal amount. I'm down 1.5 cup sizes but it's not what I asked for. I've been researching this for 15+ years and I've seen results from all over the world. It is 100% possible to have a reasonable reduction using the lollipop incision with a skilled surgeon who takes your desires into account.
Mine didn't. Thanks for your comment.

You spent almost $10k and the outcome wasn’t even close to what you were expecting. You said the instructions were different than what you were told. Did the instructions mainly refer to size or shape? If you have something in writing, you’ll at least have leverage against his practice (I’m assuming he belonged to a partnership / group of physicians that operated in a surgicenter).

Mostly size and desired effect (sporty, no skin on skin, manageable and preferably single digit cup sizing, wasn't totally worried about shape bc with lollipop you kind of know what you're getting). I reiterated that I wanted to "not need support" and for them to "stand up on their own". Clearly didn't get through to him even though I told the nurse too. Pretty sure my markings even said c/d.. Ah well, revision with the new surgeon is scheduled for this Wednesday the 16th so new review coming soon. Fingers crossed this time is it.
I was told what would happen if I wasn't satisfied, I knew I'd have to pay the surgical center fee and for anesthesia.
Thanks for your comment.

At first I was super excited and anticipating my swelling and overall size to reduce. I ended up with openings.. Not a huge deal but they were slow to heal and left me feeling really vulnerable. 1 opened because of a small hematoma at the bottom of my breast and the others were at the intersection of incisions which is common but unfortunate.

Didn't realize how limited this site was with photo types, lots of pictures I can't upload unless I play around with sizing and such. Anyways I'm 5'3.5 and was 160lbs when I had surgery. I started as a UK 32G/GG or US 32I/J and I'm really hopeful that I'll be down in the single letters C/D after the swelling goes down and I'm healed up.

All right! Keep us updated. I’m scheduled next week and looking forward to being a smaller size.
