Dr. Arora is very competent. He's a perfectionist and his work is amazing! The directions they give you in writing and then verbally are different but maybe that's bc it varies from person to person. I had my surgery yesterday 4 Aug, I'm quite sore and tired. Been doing a lot of nothing. I have pretty good range of motion in my arms. I thought my throat would be killing me afterwards but it's been fine. I have feeling in my right nipple and none at the moment in my left. Right breast looks more bruised and it hurts worse. Tomorrow I get to shower, little nervous about it. Sleeping upright is definitely not ideal. My appetite is coming back so that's something! I believe my period is starting (a whole week early). Annoying but what can ya do. I've been walking for 10 minutes every two hours I really want coffee but my paperwork says no caffeine and since it's in the cabinet I can't get it down for myself lol. Womp womp. This compression band might be the worst part. Supposed to keep the swelling down I guess? Started as 32 i/j and I'm hoping to end up around a full C small D. Updated on 6 Aug 2021: Didn't realize how limited this site was with photo types, lots of pictures I can't upload unless I play around with sizing and such. Anyways I'm 5'3.5 and was 160lbs when I had surgery. I started as a UK 32G/GG or US 32I/J and I'm really hopeful that I'll be down in the single letters C/D after the swelling goes down and I'm healed up. Updated on 2 Feb 2022: At first I was super excited and anticipating my swelling and overall size to reduce. I ended up with openings.. Not a huge deal but they were slow to heal and left me feeling really vulnerable. 1 opened because of a small hematoma at the bottom of my breast and the others were at the intersection of incisions which is common but unfortunate. Updated on 2 Feb 2022: Boobs look fine and scarring isn't great but I could live with it but my size is still unmanageable. Went from a U.S. I/j to a G. Basically my surgeon gave me a lift and not a reduction. Super angry and upset and hurt. It cost so much money and I was so upset when I was told I wouldn't get any smaller. Huge disappointment. Found out in December that Dr. Arora suddenly retired and that he might have known he was going to so he "played it safe" with me and only gave me a lift. Such BS.
I highly recommend Dr. Arora. He is a very kind and compassionate doctor and an excellent surgeon. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago, and with my subsequent bilateral mastectomy, he worked closely with my breast surgeon to help me achieve the outcome I wanted. Before the surgery, Dr. Arora took plenty of time to carefully explain all the options and procedures, and answered all my questions and concerns. At that time, I was so fortunate he was able to perform immediate breast implants with no expanders. This made my recovery much easier. I am very satisfied with the outcome. You can trust him if you should ever need any plastic surgery.
My experience with Dr. Arora has been outstanding. He is patient, kind and caring; he listens to concerns and pays great attention to detail. As well, the atmosphere of the facility is relaxing and the staff goes above and beyond. It's not often one looks forward to seeing a doctor....however, I do look forward to my appointments with Dr. Arora. He and his facilities are very deserving of a 5-star recommendation!
Dr. Arora has been my doctor throughout my breast cancer reconstruction journey. Under his care I have always felt that my healthcare needs came first. Every step of the way he has carefully explained all options and procedures, answered every question I've ever had, and made me feel confident in trusting him with my choices. As for the outcome of my reconstruction, it looks amazing. His talented work has helped me rebuild my self-confidence, and for that I am grateful. Dr. Arora is truly a gifted surgeon and compassionate doctor, who I highly recommend.
Dr Arora provided me with stellar physical and emotional care during my tx for breast cancer. Always thorough, never too busy to make sure I was informed and satisfied. My results are beyond compare.
Dr. Arora is one of a kind!!!! When it comes to Plastic Surgery he is the best. I had a Breast Reduction and Lift and everything is perfect. He is the most gentle, kind hearted doctor I have ever gone too. He takes his time with you, makes you feel comfortable and goes over everything so when your surgery day comes, you know exactly what to expect. His personality beams happiness and it makes it very easy not to be nervous at all. His office staff is wonderful also. I have no more backaches and am more confident with myself thanks to this amazing Doctor.
Dr Arrora is very knowledgeable and patient. He explains everything, answers all of your questions and you never feel rushed. He performed a tummy tuck with a repair for me. It went very well. I am very happy with my results only 4 weeks post op!
Dr. Arora performed my breast reduction. I wanted my breast smaller, but I loved the look of my breast (pre-op). I was nervous that I wouldn't love my new look (post-op).I always think the worst. Would they be even, will they be too small, would I no longer look like myself ? The outcome was wonderful. I love my new look and Dr. Arora was patient and explained everything in detail simple and sweet. He was sure to check on me and gave me plenty of time to ask all my questions. Minimal scaring & nice shape! Great beside manner I felt like Dr. Arora actually cared about what I wanted and didn't just show up for a check.
Dr. Arora was professional and very concerned about my health and healing process. I had him remove my 17 Year old Silicone implants. Rather then push new implants on me he allowed me the time to decided if I even wanted them. After I decided not to go with other implants he did not push the lift on me. He allowed me to heal first then decide what I wanted to do. Tests showed they were leaking. What was supposed to me a 1.5 hour surgery turned into 4.5 hours. Dr. Arora had a family emergency that day knowing before my surgery. He still took the time to after finding both implants were ruptured and I had silicone all over to clean it out and take out my capsules. He provided me with a few healthy eating sites at my request to help me to heal. He was always honest with me about what was going on I appreciate that more then he will ever know. I trust him and will use him again should I decide to lift or do a fat transfer.
If you are looking for a plastic surgeon who possesses attention to detail and exceptional bedside manner, Dr. Store is the doctor for you. He goes more than the extra mile to explain the procedure, what your aftercare should be, and personally follows up with you. He drove from his office in Stafford, VA at 2pm on a Wednesday to come to his Chevy Chase, MD office to set my mind at ease regarding a concern that I had. He was on the Beltway for 2 hours; I'm not sure another physician would have done this. I am elated with his professional work and spot on care. I would recommend him to anyone that I know is in need of plastic surgery.
