Maybe over doing it?

WORTH IT$12,000
The sun is out and it's warm. That means I'm outside working. I love it! I have been more uncomfortable. Mostly along the lower outsides of my breasts and my rib cage I'm that area. Today I will try harder to take it easy. It's hard for me to rest. I'm definitely a go getter. Otherwise everything else is going well. I get excited for the next week to see more healing and progress towards feeling back to my normal self. I still get tired randomly. So my body is still hard at work to heal up! Next Wednesday I have my next post op appointment. Can't wait to see what Dr. Bensimon says.

I was recommended by another realself cosmetic surgeon to get a consult with Dr. Bensimon. I am so thankful for surgeons who know what they are best at and respect the work of others in their field who may be a better fit! Dr. Bensimon and the Bensimon center has been outstanding! From the minute you walk in the door you are welcomed with a tranquil, beautiful, kind environment. From the front desk, financial services, nurses, and Dr. Bensimon you are well taken care of and everyone cares about their job! Dr. Bensimon was the first to give me options for my breast and good education to support my decision to move forward. I loved that he does the more complicated and asthetically pleasing vertical (lollipop lift), he does not use drains ( and hasn't for over 10yrs), he has a beautiful OR on site, and he does NOT use General Anesthesia!!! Anesthesia has always been rough for me. With general anesthesia I wake up with nausea and vomiting, sore throat for days, groggy, and overall just feel sick! At the Bensimon Center I was given Versed and Propofol in an IV to gently put me to sleep. I was able to maintain my own airway. I woke up in recovery wide awake, with NO nausea, and NO pain! I did not feel sick at all! I asked the nurse how long I had been in recovery. She said about 5 minutes. I was so shocked! I was able to be awake to hear how my surgery went, ask questions and remember it all! Because Dr. Bensimon uses local anesthesia to help with pain control I did not have pain at all for my 2 hour ride home. I literally rode all the way home sitting up in the passenger seat having conversation and was wide awake as if I didn't just have surgery! My pain was controlled with mostly Ibuprofen and Tylenol after anesthesia wore off! I am so thankful for this experience. It has been worth every dollar spent!

No tape!

These days off to rest have been nice and needed. No real pain to report. Bruising is almost gone. I work the next 3 days. I'll see how I do. I've learned that the more support soft bra I bought is better for long days. I did some light yard work today. Everything seems fine. Looking forward to working out again. Building up for it. More activity every day.

Work is hard!

I have a physically demanding job and I work 12 hour shifts with not many breaks. So you can imagine how sore I've been the last two days when I get home! I've had to use my stronger pain medicine in the evening. I'm trying not to lift much. I get tired easily and I'm ready to have a few days off rest. Tomorrow I will replace my tape and try to get some pictures. I'm so exhausted!

Bless your heart!! Hate you have to work! Ugh!! I hope there is someone that doesn't mind helping you with heavier lifts. Wow, but you look fabulous!
