Can’t Thank Dr Moncrieff Enough! I am in love with my new shape!

After losing over 100 kilos and being only 25, I knew that skin removal surgery was the next step in my fitness journey. I spent hours researching surgeries and surgeons. After seeing Hunter Plastic Surgery appear in other peoples weight loss journeys on Insta and after pouring over their website and reviews, I flew to NSW for a consult. Best decision ever. Dr Moncrieff and his team made me feel so comfortable and after talking through different timelines and options for the best recovery and results, I knew that I wanted to have them be a part of my journey. I love how body positive and supportive the entire team is, and how professional and confident Dr Moncrieff is in his areas of expertise. And my scars are proof of how amazing his work really is. I lost so much that I knew I would be wanting skin removed from most of my body. Dr Moncrieff suggested a staged approach to allow for healing and to give the best results in the long run. I did a breast reduction and uplift in 2022, at the same time as an abdominoplasty. Recovery was great, from the moment I came out of surgery I was in loveeee with my results. I can’t believe Dr Moncrieff was able to accomplish so much in the first surgery. I didn’t want implants after my skin had been through so much during my weight gain, and my request was for my reduction to make my boobs as small as possible. How he removed so much skin from my breasts while keeping a feminine curve, I don’t know! I am in love with my new shape! My abdominoplasty was just as amazing, my scar line is so neat and thin. I had an apron belly and the abdominoplasty was everything that I dreamed it would be. Once I was recovered, I was finally able to enjoy wearing bikinis and living life on the beach. This April, I had my arms done and a back lift and I will forever be in awe of Dr Moncrieff’s surgical abilities. This time knowing how great the nurses and support is at Hunter Plastic Surgery, I stayed a little longer before flying back to Qld. Now that I’m home, everyone has been gushing over the scar lines. They really are so neat and the arm scar line curves into my breast reduction scar and it’s almost pretty. Which isn’t something most people say about massive scars! My back line joins back around on my hips and I’ve already tested the bikinis, the scars can hidden (also love showing them off) and I am so appreciative of the effort that Dr Moncrieff puts into his surgeries.
