Reductions 32G to 32D/DD

Home and comfortable

I came home after one night in hospital despite being able to stay 2 nights. I was getting a new room
mate (no private room available!) so decided I would sleep better at home.
I haven’t had any pain that can’t be helped with a couple of standard panadol. Sleeping is easy with my wedge pillows and husband in the guest room!
I’m very happy with the result, so far no bruising and they look extremely perky! Can’t stop looking through swimsuit websites for summer!
I would highly recommend getting the surgery done, I know it’s only early days but I couldn’t be happier.

It's always nice to be at home! Update through the process, pics and how your feeling.
Do you know how much grams was removed from each breast?
Hello Dh1979 & LD MamaBear thanks for your comments, have you had a reduction yet or are you thinking about it? Highly recommend having it done, it’s literally a load off your chest! Not sure how much was removed but will ask the doctor on Friday, I know I weighed 2kg less after a night in hospital but maybe that wasn’t all boob loss! I just have to try and stop doing everything around the house!
Fab news. They look a great shape and size on you. They actually look like 32D/DD, this is great early sign. I still think mine will end up an F or G.
How are you recovering now?
Hi! Sorry I went AWOL as so much going on. Recovery has been great, I didn’t have any pain only annoying thing is the sleeping on back but that was fine after a couple of nights while I got used to the wedge pillow under my legs. Now it’s so comfy I can’t give it up. I went back for my first appointment after a week and was really impressed with the scars, they were very thin and healing nicely. Now it’s almost 4 weeks and I’ve just been changing the tapes myself each week, the only “funny” bit is on the right side where it looks a bit like a skin tag but with my arm down you can’t see it. I’ll ask the doctor when I go back on the 11th. I didn’t he any trouble driving after 10 days not any problem with household jobs. I did get a clever d now think I’ll keep them on, I went to the hairdresser once a week for a wash and blow dry but that’s t Aly now just laziness! So all good!!

2 days to go!

It’s 2 days before I go in for my reduction, the hospital admissions rang today and the nurse will apparently call tomorrow for a chat. The only drawback is having to be there at 630am! And without even a coffee to wake me up!
I’ll post some more more photos when I can as I’ve found they’ve been really helpful in my research.

Similar to me, only I had to arrive for 7.30am. PS didn’t turn up until 8.30 apparently stuck in traffic, but by 9am I was in the anaesthetic room drifting off. Wishing all the best. Good luck. See you on the other side x
Thanks choc.nuts just got to try and get to sleep tonight now!
Well it’s done and dusted! The surgery went very well and I had the drains taken out today and am now ready to go home! No pain not even when the drains were removed. The nurse changed the large bandages over to some strips so I got to see my new and improved boobs! High and firm but I’m sure they’ll soften and drop, not complaining wouldn’t mind them staying up here! I’d say I’m a generous D maybe DD and very happy. Will post some photos in the next day or two.
Good to hear all went well. Look forward to following your journey. Rest lots x

Reductions 32G to 32D/DD

I am 2 weeks before my breast reduction from a 32G to a 32D/DD. I’ve decided not to go smaller than that as I’ve had big boobs my whole life (well - substantial part of it!) and feel I won’t look balanced any smaller. I’ve never had pain or felt they’ve been in the way, more just getting clothes and swimwear to fit and be be comfortable.
Has anyone tips on what I should have in the house for when I get home in terms of bra, bed support etc? Or just any advice in general!

Hi, I am 10 weeks post up after having a breast reduction/uplift, it’s the best thing that I have ever done I’ve gone from 830 2FF 2a DD, they look fantastic. My advice to you would be take at least four weeks off work and be home and rest, be prepared That you won’t be able to do any housework/cooking, even driving after four weeks is still uncomfortable as the seatbelt digs in and the bumps in the road are painful to your chest. I had no Pain at all, it was tight on my scars and uncomfortable I’m still sleeping on my back at night, I had a huge pillow behind me to sleep at night on this with adequate, and no lifting or stretching at all you don’t want to ruin the great results that you’re going to end up with. Good luck
32ff to 32dd !!!
janejohnson30 thank you so much for our comments, it’s nice to hear that you are happy. It’s a bit nerve wracking all this!! I’m a stay at home Mum so the no work part is easy, I’ve arranged a cleaner for 6 weeks and my husband says we can rely on Uber Eats for food....or maybe he could cook and do the dishes
My op is two days before yours so lets share progress :)
I’m scheduled for September! I’ve also been very big breasted since about 6th grade and am so glad to hear that I’m not alone in feeling anxiety about them being too small! I honestly was feeling so shallow!
Thanks for the replies ladies, I’ve been way up North (Australia) with no internet! So it’s only just over a week before I go and get “done” I’ll make sure to post some advice and possibly ask for more!
