Negative Star Review. A DREADFUL, REGRETTABLE, AGONIZING EXPERIENCE.

.I underwent a reduction mammaplasty in June 2025. The results are terrible. He prematurely removed most stitches and missed removing other that were later removed by a doctor at the would center. Dr. V detached my areola leaving it separated from my breast and created a wound, cellulitis of right breast, and I got a bacterial infection. Today I am 6 weeks post-opt. Dr. Vartivarian has poor bedside manners and very unprofessional. I set aside his poor bedside manners and concentrated on the belief that his work was what truly mattered, and according to reviews, it was good. However, I question the authenticity of those positive reviews. He always rushed me, interrupted me when I spoke, rarely made eye contact, and seemed annoyed. He was rushing me and making a nurse dress me to discharge me from the hospital. I was very weak and in a great deal of pain. I could not walk. My husband had to step in and stand up for me, so I could remain for another night before I was healthy enough to be released. If Dr. V dedicated as much energy to his medical expertise as he does to his poor bedside manners, I would gladly leave a positive review. Unfortunately, I feel it is essential to inform others about his mediocre, unprofessional, and outdated practice skills. He and his receptionist Rachel (claims to be a nurse) are unprofessional, rude, and unhygienic. He is very combative, defensive, and a deceiver. Dr. V did not pay attention to my concerns. His post-care was severely lacking and reckless. Dr. V dismissed my concerns, told me to call my primary MD. I knew and felt that my pain and appearance of incisions were NOT normal. My whole body and incisions were in a great deal of pain. I went to the E.R. I was IMMEDIATELY admitted, stayed a night, and given three antibiotics through an IV to combat a severe bacterial infection, received morphine for the pain, and the following day I was discharged with a prescription for appropriate and successful antibiotics and pain medications. The E.R. doctor was precise with his medical knowledge; Dr. V. referred to him as “stupid”. Dr. V yellowed at me. Dr. V was upset that I went to the E.R. So am I supposed to die?! Per his instructions I made an appointment with my primary MD. My primary instructed me to go the E.R.. I was in terrible shape. I needed urgent care. At his clinic, I observed that Dr. V does not use gloves, his instruments are not sterilized, they are out in the open: collecting dust, he gave me expired saline, incorrect post-opt care instructions, wrong meds, and his clinic has COCKROACHES. If I had more typing space I would provide more details. I am no longer seeing Dr. V. for my continued post-opt care. I am now under the professional care by an excellent surgeon, real nurse, wound specialist, and my primary MD. My new surgeon and dedicated nurse don gloves, adhere to PPE protocols, and practice within a pristine medical setting with sterile instruments. My exceptional new and real healthcare team exemplifies patience, kindness, and an extraordinary degree of professionalism, sincerely addressing my concerns and guaranteeing the appropriate treatment and post-operative CORRECT care .My insurance TERMINATED Dr. Vartivarian! I would not be astonished if Dr. V responds with defensiveness and untruths. Exercise caution, and prioritize the safeguarding of your health, time, and finances. I absolutely 100% do not recommend Dr. Vartivarian.
