Doing well overall and breasts have completely healed. Still have hypertrophic scars but they’re flattening and softening in most areas. Even with that I have no regrets about the surgery whatsoever. It improved my life tenfold!

Pics added. Scars becoming hypertrophic/raised. Hopefully they’ll flatten as healing progresses. Trying scar sheets again. Don’t want to do steroid injections.

Thanks for posting helps think of how the process will be for me. I am 1 week post op as of yesterday. Feels great on my neck back and shoulders. I had a lumbar fusion on lower back, trying to avoid more for neck. Thanks

Hope your recovery is going well. Take it easy and allow your body to heal. It's amazing how the neck, back & shoulder pain is instantly relieved.

How are you feeling otherwise? I'm a 34G and I have a couple of hypertrophic scars. I've been afraid of surgery bc I'm assuming I won't scar well.

Overall I feel great. I still have slight soreness in between my breasts which tends to occur if I sleep on my sides for too long. To avoid that, I primarily sleep on my back. It's hard to predict what will happen with scaring but I recommend definitely discussing with a plastic surgeon to see what they advise and also do your own research. It's been totally worth it for me even with the scars. I'm hoping the scar sheets & silicone gel will help. I'll update in a couple of months.

Is there a certain name brand of scar sheets and silicone gel that you used?

I've been using Scar Away which is widely available from Target or Walmart.

I am healing nicely (see pics). There’s an area between both breasts that’s still a bit sore especially when I lean forward. I still sleep on my back for the most part because it’s the most comfortable. I can lay on my sides for short periods of time before I start feeling soreness in between the breasts. Lefty is a bit larger than righty...that’s how it was before. Was hoping they’d be evened out with the surgery, but no worries, still love them! For scarring, I tried scar sheets for 2 days, but I found them annoying and taking them off made me more sore, so I stopped using them. Also I’ve always preferred natural remedies, so I’m using shea butter, cocoa butter and pure vitamin E oil.

Instant relief indeed! I'm so glad I did it. How are you feeling about your scars? Are you using anything on them?

I have my three month check up today. I find myself rolling on to my side sometimes, and it wakes me up, (not sure if its painfull or just oversensitive now) I use strips called Trofolastin that I get here in Spain, well they're patches that I cut into strips. They are mainly for keyloid scars but my surgeon suggests them for all his patients and I don't even notice them. I hope this helps, and good luck with the rest of your journey
