Life Changing Experience

I am sharing this experience that waited when I was at my age of 20plus but those days the size of the breast was still acceptable.

As years of age gradually grew especially after pregnancy and breast feeding process, most parts of my body changed from M- L to XL size but the twin cups looked much larger than the proportion which eventually become an E cup. My routine dressing were just a T-shirt and shorts. To find a bra of my size is even harder. Depression, low self-esteem grew and never a day I was happy because the eyes of the surrounding Exercise was also an issue, imagining wearing a sports bra with add on a wired bra before the run is a tedious job.

Until a day somewhere earlier in 2022, my legs start to weak and heavy to run for a bus, non stop panting to catch up for breathes. I decided to do something for myself.

When I first met my PS, Dr Chia, she even did detailed measurements and shared the pros and cons of the surgery. At that moment, I already started to visualise the day that I have been looking forward to for almost a decade. Dr Chia's schedule were tight but still managed to have a date for me. Due to personal reasons, I only have a date and she agreed without hesitation to help me out because she believed that this surgery is very important to me. I was grateful for this.

6 months passed, waiting early in the morning at Admission and the ops team were approachable and nice. They underwent steps under their protocols. After being pushed into the room, saw Dr Chia together with the surgery team. This is my first surgery in life so I'm pretty nervous but the two female doctors did a great job by assuring me that I will be in their good hands.

Not long, I had GA and knocked out. The moment I woke up was about 5 hours later. I did not feel much of a pain probably due to anaesthetic and the team observed me another hour before pushing me to the ward. I wore a medical support bra and a band over to the shoulder which was meant to secure the back. It was quite uncomfortable because it has been over 40yrs without sitting straight.

The following day the team came to visit me. Everyone looked so happy and relieved for me like putting a stone down from the shoulders.

After two days, I can discharge with 2 bottles with tubes which meant to discharge the dirty blood. A week later, I can remove the tubes. With the painkillers, there was not much of a pain and inconvenience since now they replace medicated bras over bandages.

Another month ended, I was very satisfied with the result from an E cup to a C cup. My life turned differently with lesser backaches, headaches and unhappiness over finding the right bra, right clothing for my unproportional body. I am waiting for the day to go back to exercise. Would be happy to encourage anyone to consider if this is your life obstacle.
