WORTH IT
Healing has been an up and down rollercoaster. Two weeks after surgery my right breast started bleeding nonstop (scared the crap out of me). boobs are feeling a lot better now though and the swelling is going down a bit. The scars are also healing and looking better. But I don’t really like the shape of my breasts because there wide, one is bigger than the other and I wish she would have made them smaller. People can’t even tell I had a reduction unless I tell them (which is not a particularly good thing to me because I wanted a noticeable change). That being said - my shoulders don’t hurt anymore and I don’t have to wear bras with wires poking and bruising my underarms. Overall I think it was a good decision to have the reduction.

You won’t see the end results for 9 months to a year. You are MUCH smaller now, but I get the part about your breasts being wide. Mine are, too and one is about a cup size larger than the other. But, I need very little support now and can go braless under loose tops and not draw unwanted attention to myself. Enjoy the new you!!

Today makes exactly 1 week since my surgery. I feel a lot better. Not much pain anymore. I just really want to have the dressing removed. I got it wet once while taking a shower and it burned, so I wash around it now. Feels really icky tho. Can’t wait for my follow-up appointment tomorrow.
