Is GG to a C Realistic? Will I Regret Going Smaller Than a D?

Hello! I am 32 now and I had D boobs before I got to my senior school.
For a long time I hated them, I grew up in a hot country and could never wear bikinis or even swimsuits. I had stretch marks from the word go and they've never had much bounce to them! They are just a bit lifeless.
Surgery wasn't really ever an option. And I think I've thought up until now that I would regret getting it done. Despite having learnt how to dress them and learnt how to cover them I came out of a 'big boob' store over the summer in tears AGAIN because I was just SO uncomfortable.
If I ever had a massage of for some reason someone was touching my back or neck, they were shocked at how stiff and solid it was. It was so sore, and as I got a bit older I was just OVER them.
They don't suit my personality mainly. I'm very sporty and a bit of a tom boy, I dress pretty androgynous and don't wear make up or get my nails done etc.
I'm 5'10 and size 10 (UK)
My goal is this: I want the pain, clothes, underwear and swimwear problem gone, I don't want to just have a 'smaller problem'.
Does that make sense?! I therefore think I want to go down to a C.
Has anyone done this? GG-C? Did you regret going much smaller?
My instinct says I wont regret it but I wanted to see if anyone has experience. Also because I'm tall, I wonder if C wont be in proportion.
Any insight is welcomed!! I will upload some pics when I can.
Thanks!!

I'm a 30H and about to go down to what my surgeon says will be "large C/small D". I think its possible. you can always bring photos of where you want to end up to your doctor as examples.

My doc says I can go from an H to a C.

Hi! Congratulations! A SMALL C!!! That's amaaaazing! Sorry I missed this yesterday. I am waiting to be taken to theatre right now. You've motivated me to reiterate that I really really want a C. I've been praying for 32c! Are you ok post op? Well done. You did it xx

SORRY - you are quite tall as well. I had misremembered!

I went from a GG to a C. It took some adjustment because they seemed so small at first but I think they are absolutely perfect now.

Amazing! Kind of exactly what I wanted to hear! :)

I went from triple ddd to a full c cup
Honestly? Asked for a small b but I guess my dr felt this was as small as she could safely go
You will drop and fill out more as time goes by so bear that in mind- size can still change. If I had my wish I would have wanted the small b
I glad mine are smaller but I wanted an athletic look

I hear you with the athletic look! I'm sorry it didn't work out as small as you wanted them.

Adding some before pics as I didn’t have any of me out of clothes.
I am having my second consultation on Thursday 19th sept. All being well I will then go in for the surgery on 9th October. I’m excited. Psychologically I feel post surgery in that I have decided I’m getting it done and have sort of decided to ignore my boobs. I’ve stopped worrying and thinking so much about them. I’m wondering if I might be able to do yoga again? Maybe even complete my teacher training? Who knows. :)

I’m 5 months post-op and I’m about to be 35 next month. Yes you will be able to do yoga. I went and did pure barre at 3 months I was fine and now I’m back with my trainer. It will depend on your body and recovery when you can go back. You don’t want your scar to stretch. After surgery your going to regret it it’s just emotional feeling than your going to love it. Also your breast will be full so you might feel like there in your way b/c they will be sitting up lol don’t worry it goes away. I wish you luck!

Yes, I think C--Cup. I'm an H cup and still want the surgery but am unable to stop smoking! I'm trying!! Anyway, when I went in for consult, the surgeon said she'd take me to a C and I thought like you YIKES that's tiny...but really it's not!!! Be well

Thank you that warning about the post surgery regret is really helpful. I am going to try and let all the emotions come post op and try not to judge them too quickly! Might be a tough call ;)

Hey there! I feel your pain! I was a D before I went to middle school. I developed very early. By the time I was in 8th grade, I was 145lbs and had a 32GG. I had my reduction in June 2019 and I’m now a DD. Sometimes I wish I went to a C but I like my DD. There isn’t a major difference between C and DD. Just know that whatever choice you make, you’ll look amazing and feel so much relief! Xoxo Katie

I recently had my surgery 11wpo tomorrow to be exact. I’m currently a DD cup and I have been angry for the past few days wondering after all the pain I went through, I still ended up with a dd. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate this than my H or I cup previously but it would’ve been nice to be a D.

Best Decision, Best Surgeon.

I am 2 months post op, and I can safely say this is the best decision I have ever made. And choosing Dr Jallali to do the procedure is part of the reason I feel so good about it. He's a wizard! I am amazed at the shape he has achieved. I thought that you really sacrificed a bit with regards to shape - I don't know why I had that impression - but I have better looking boobs than I have EVER had. They are pert and round and just what I wanted.

I recommend Dr Jallali for his professionalism, experience and how concise he is. There's no messing around. He doesn't waste your time and he's very open about the different stages of the recovery, what to expect, how to look after the scarring and what might or might not happen. I had some specific extra questions before the surgery and we discussed each of them over the course of 2 consultations. I was able to be in touch with his PA Rachel if I had any concerns. She was lovely to deal with. The Welbeck hospital is located in the heart of Central London's most exclusive medical area..and the staff were all amazing after surgery. I can't thank or recommend Dr Jallali enough.

By summer 2020 I'm sure my old boobs will feel a bit like a bad dream! :)
