1 Month, Going Well
My recovery has been pretty uneventful thankfully! Every day I got a little more mobile and had a little less swelling. I overdid it a couple times and experienced more swelling and aching those days which went away at night. I would say the pain is gone, but my breasts are still sensitive to pressure. I can carefully sleep on my side now, but not my front. I walk a ton, but I think it would still be uncomfortable to run. I’m still wearing my surgical bra at night.
I’d heard that you can lose nipple sensitivity which I actually wasn’t too worried about because it might be a relief for me,
Lol! What I hadn’t heard is that you can get extra sensitivity which is what happened to me ugh! It seems to be getting back to normal now though luckily.
My breasts look great, but I was hoping to go even smaller. Overall I’m happy though and my surgeon did a fantastic job.
I was worried my breasts would feel strange and foreign to me after surgery, but I honestly felt immediately like they were more mine than my old ones, haha.
I’ll post another update in about a year, but happy holidays and a big goodbye to 2020!

Want to do things! Lol
Everything is going well. I overdid it a bit yesterday and feel a bit swollen today so I took it easy. I’ve had trouble sleeping on my back a couple of nights (I’m usually a stomach sleeper) but my afternoon naps have been making up for that.
I also tried a different bra yesterday (still soft) but it was too tight, so I washed my surgical bra and am strapped back in, lol.

Post-Op Appointment
Omg, I am in love with my new breasts! I was super nervous to even take the bra off, let alone the bandages, but it didn’t hurt at all! I had taken 2 extra strength Tylenol early in the am and had my appointment at 10:45. It was such a relief to take my bandages off and then have a shower and a good inspection of my new chest when I got home.
I gave my chest a break from my surgical bra and then put on a clean one. I feel so much better. Here’s hoping for great healing!
