Finally.....Got the Reduction I've always wanted.

My recovery is going pretty good. My awesome surgeon was Dr. Melissa Klausmeyer at #KaiserPermanente. My surgery went well, woke up with no pain, no drains used either which I was very glad about. Didn't go thru any kind of PAIN per se, just occasional discomfort and I would pop a pain pill and go to sleep. I took two pills day 1 & 2 & 1 on day 3 and that was it. I've had two post op checkup with my doc and she said that I'm a fast healer, incisions were healing well and such. They have closed up and the part under lies flat and everything. But the sides and the part between my boobs are still a little raised. Granted it's still early, I'm 2 months post op Today. #Yeahhh I did take off the residual tape that was left there around 3wks ish... And I noticed that the incision became raised, so I bought some surgical tape and that has helped a lot. I have bought some Mederma, but haven't started using it yet as I'm not sure if the tape will hold with the cream. I have read and watched videos of other recoveries and most people at or before two months seem to be active already working out, and such. I'm a little leery to go there just yet as I'm still getting pain and discomfort in that area when I get too active doing lite house work, or even driving for more than an hour, I feel the discomfort in my upper back and my side incisions get to twinging. I'm laid off, so I have no coverage as of last month. Thank God I got my procedure done while I was still employed and covered ???? so I only had the $40 co pay. I've applied for medical, but there having me jump thru hoops so yeah,....That part!! I am happy with my decision to get a reduction, But I'm praying that my boobs will even out as right now, I'm a bit lopsided. My left boob is noticeably bigger than my right. At least a full cup size bigger I'd say. It's not noticeable thru my clothes which is great. So I'm trying to think positive thoughts since it's still kinda early in the game. I was very happy around between WK 3-4 when I didn't have to sleep sitting up anymore in my couch. Got in my bed and stretch out on my back with my arms elevated which helped and still does. I haven't taken a recent pic yet but I will try to get it sometime today. .
I was hoping for a C cup, but per my surgeon, they don't do cup request, they look at your breast and decide what's a reasonably healthy size to reduce it to. So I think I'm probably gonna be about a 38c or 36dd and I definitely do not want a double anything. Previously, I was wearing anything from 36dddd to 36G depending on the bra brand. Will keep you updated.
