Feels So Freeinf

I had overly heavy and large breasts since my teen years. This caused physical discomfort over the years, limited how active I was due to pain, and also caused emotional distress due to difficulty finding good clothing options, inappropriate comments from gross men, and unwanted attention. I thought about getting a reduction on and off over the years, but delayed because of cost. Since the US has a terrible health care system, I knew I would not be covered with my minimal insurance plans. I coped by finding clothing brands that catered to busty femmes, and tried to deal. But when I hit 40 years old I was done and over the weight and discomfort. I figured I would look into financing options to make it happen. I booked an initial consult with Dr. Diehl, who I was lucky to find in an online search and had a good feeling about from her website. She was obviously an expert but was also warm, welcoming, and answered all my questions with patience and care. I was able to schedule my surgery a few months out, after getting a mammogram. Coronavirus happened and I decided to delay the surgery until we knew more about the virus, and their office also closed to keep patients safe. I scheduled my surgery for June and happened to be the first surgery patient since their return from hiatus and by then they had thorough safety protocols to reduce risk of getting the virus. I felt extremely comfortable with the surgery team, and, for me, it was a breeze since I was under anesthesia. The recovery period was a couple weeks of limited movement (no lifting things or reaching overhead) but was not as bad as I expected. Mild soreness and discomfort that ibuprofen helped ease. The scarring is minimal and expected for this type of procedure. I have felt so free since this weight was taken off my chest! I have gone out in public bra-less for the first time without it being noticeable—something I never thought possible. I felt immediately more at ease and relaxed in my body with a smaller breast size. I wish I had done it earlier in life but better late than never. Highly recommend! Went down from 40H to 40C.
