Today I had a breast reduction performed by Dr. Weiser. From the consultation, to the pre-op, to the moment of surgery today, Dr. Weiser and his staff have been wonderful and did everything in their power to make me feel calm and comfortable. I am supposed to go in to see him tomorrow and I will update this site afterwards. I am experiencing a little bit of pain but nothing unbearable. His staff is so caring that the nurse even put my belly ring back in before I even woke up. I did not wake up with any nausea or vomiting just a little drowsiness. So far so good! I am very thankful to Dr. Weiser and his staff for making this process easy and giving me peace of mine.

Day 2

Didn’t sleep much last night because of how much I needed to be elevated but the hours I did sleep were very restful. Met with dr. Weiser this morning (he came in on a Saturday when the office was closed) to check on me. He removed my bandages and allowed me to take a look! I love how my breasts look right now. They’re very perky and smaller. They are still very swollen but I was told it will go down as long as I keep taking care of myself. I am very pleased with how they look right now and I cannot thank Dr. weiser and his staff enough. Pain is better today than it was yesterday. I was told I could shower but I probably won’t because I still feel extremely sensitive in my chest area. Next appointment is Wednesday, an update will be posted then !

Recovery going well
Adventurous9844June 27, 2019
Saw Dr. Weiser yesterday Wednesday. He said I looked like I was at a week and a half recovery despite it only being 5 days ! He only changed the steri strips on my bandages and said everything was looking good ! At this point I feel absolutely no pain. My breasts feel like theyre very obviously on my chest but no pain just some discomfort. Still swollen but most of it has gone down

Can you tell me what u did the first few days to “take care of them”? So far I am day three and my incisions look dark. And it looks boxy on the bottom but I also know I am swollen.
Anyway I did take shower this morning, I am drinking water, and taking the meds and Antibiotics they gave me. I am propped up while sleeping. I get up and walk around some. I even washed clothes. But not sure if I am doing to much or not. I tend to do more and not realize it I guess. Any advice would be great! I look so good

Hello ! Wow on day three i could barely pick up a cup if water without it hurting, i am surprised youre washing clothes ! I suggest walking around and not using your arms at all if possible. As far as the scars, i kept my surgical tape on for two months after surgery, after that i used scar tape and essential oils such as melaluca and frankensense to reduce the visibility of the scars. I suggest keeping the steri strips on for as long as possible to prevent stretching of the scars which will make them for visible. Good luck !

Thanks for starting a review, I hope you find lots of support here. Wishing you a speedy recovery —keep up posted!
