Dr J De Wet and his team are professional, attentive and respectful. From my initial consultation to the hospital care. His secretary Getrude is an absolute gem.
During my consultation dr explained the procedure and answered all my questions. I looked at his previous cases and used that to address my specific outcome.
Theater staff equally attentive and professional, reassuring me , informing me of every step that was about to take place . Dr Japie was waiting in theater also explaining the procedure. Super impress. I felt safe.
Everything went as per scheduled, there were no delays.
Dr Japie saw me twice after leaving the surgery whilst at the hospital. Awesome bedside manners.
My boobs are not in serious pain, no severe discomfort . Obvious there is pain and discomfort but its not debilitating.
I am happy with what i see in the surgical bra, even more ,Dr clearly understood me feelings regarding my breast size.

How would you rate your pain immediately after surgery? Also, how bad was it after a week?

Hi.
Today is my 2nd day post op. Operation was Wednesday morning 16/10..Immediately after surgery , whilst pushing me to the recovery room , I felt a burning stiffness, I would rate it a 4 , if scale was 10.
Yesterday I had my drainage pipes removed by dr Japie De Wet. Breast are still hard . They not painful when I touch them. I'm not in serious pain. I have some pain but i take my medication on the clock.
I was given , antibiotics, sleep and pain medication.
I bath and dress myself. I dont feel sick.
Most importantly I love the look of my breast.
I will post more pics.

I just had my surgery about 5 weeks ago and was the same size as you! That's so interesting to find someone else with a similar story, wish you the best in your recovery!! Take it a day at a time and walk when you can to give your back a break, those first weeks were hell when it came to sleep and back soreness lol.

Thank you for the support and encouragement.
This week was different as I was experiencing pain , in my breast and back pain. I also made the mistake to rest my arms on my breast while sleeping . Next Friday my bandages will be removed.
I cannot wait to wear my tshirts..

Hey there, congrats on your procedure. You're chest looks amazing so far i hope your results are everything you hoped for.
I'm still researching, but wanted to asked what kjnd of surgical bra this was. Id really like to grab one during my preparation time!

I forgot to include my bra size. I went from a 34 F to a 36 C.
