6 weeks post op
I went to my surgeon and the tape was removed after about 4-5 weeks. Things are looking okay. I initially had an open sore which closed up pretty well after using neosporine and applying a bandaid for about a week. She released my before photos to me and I can’t believe the huge difference.
My scarring is not too bad and she positioned the incisions where it couldn’t be seen unless you lifted my breast. I still want to lighten it and make it as even toned as possible. I was told to keep it moisturized and massage daily.
Any tips on products for scarring?

Back Pain Relief After 10+years
I am 31 and have had very heavy breast (36F) since I was about 14. Last year I finally made my first consultation to a plastic surgeon. After a few months I found out my insurance would pay for the procedure and 3 months later I had surgery. I am now 4 weeks post-op. I noticed my back pain being significantly reduced about 1 week after surgery. Now I am on the road to recovery. My surgical tape is still on, I still sleep on my back, and still wearing the surgical bra. I can’t wait for this part to be over with. I am happy so far and so grateful for better quality of life. I don’t have to be in my 30s with back pain from my breast!
