Age 50, natural shape breasts after breast reduction, but size asymmetry

18 months after surgery: asymmetry
WORTH IT
While I still think the surgery was worth it and I am very happy with the shape of the breasts and the scars, I must add that the size came out differently (of the breasts and the nipples). It was noticeable from the first day, but with the swelling, etc, I was told not to judge until everything settles. Unfortunately, an almost a cup difference in breasts remains. It was much worse before the surgery, of course, but I am still bothered by this difference. Also, the actual size is smaller than I wanted and expected, especially of the smaller breast. The doctor was not very responsive to my concerns and suggested a consultation with a different surgeon. Anyway, nothing can be done at this point. But again, the surgery itself, the shape of the breasts and the healing went perfectly.

Dr Huettner Has Hand of Gold.
The staff at the Breast Reduction Center told me that Dr Huettner is "an artist", and it's true: she is very concerned with the aesthetic side of things. I was initially worried that too much of the breasts would be cut (because this is what the insurance demands), but the size turned out to be just right. My breasts look very natural and the scars are not as bad as I imagined. My nipples are intact, the sensation didn't change. The size is a little different in two breasts but it doesn't bother me (they were very asymmetrical to begin with). Overall it's a beautiful job, I look proportional now. I am 50 and I didn't have such nice breasts even at 20. I highly recommend Dr Huettner. During consultation she focuses too much on not giving you false hopes or not promising any particular size or result. But if you look past that, you can trust that she'll absolutely do the best possible job.

Is your difference noticeable if you wear a t-shirt without a bra?
