WORTH IT
I had my breast reduction on 9/6/19. Dr. Chen and his staff are super friendly. All of my questions were answered. After surgery the nurses treated me with so much care. I was given a pain pill, but my pain for this surgery has been a 0. A sore, but pain level maybe 0-.5. I go in for a checkup on 9/11. I will post pics after bra is removed and drains are removed.

I sure will. Everyone’s body is different, but I’ve had ZERO pain! I have a lil soreness, but that doesn’t bother me. I haven’t taken any of my pain meds. I can’t wait to see what they look like on Wednesday

That's brilliant! Good luck for Wednesday :)

Post op so far. 4 days post op. Side view. Didn’t want to remove bandage due to the dry blood spot. My initial post op appointment is tomorrow. Hopefully the drains are removes and I will have a better pic of what my breast look like once the bandages are removed from the dry blood spot seen here.

The swelling and redness has gotten worse as days go on. I’m going to post pics of it shortly and you would be able to see.

1 week post op

Today makes one week post op. The right breast is swollen much more than the left breast and it has obvious redness on the right breast as well. I’m feeling as if this maybe a problem. I’m not to sure, and it has me kind of nervous bc I can see the difference in the redness and swelling in between the days. The left one doesn’t give me any problem. I called the surgeon nurse today, and she said the surgeon said he can’t really see much of a difference between Wednesday and today, but in my eyes I can see the difference without a problem.

Hi nette1985!
I hope your recuperating and liking the girls more and more! I can't wait for my "twins" to be down-sized!! :)
I was just wondering- do happen to know how much he removed? Your before size is just like mine--i may be a little bigger than you were--but I too wish to be a B size. Was it difficult for your surgeon to get you down to that size? I'm hoping to be somewhere in the B category!
Continue healing and may all be well for you and your tatas! :)

Hi. I had only one problem after surgery. I ended up having hematoma after surgery and had to get that fixed. I didn’t have to take my pain meds after surgery; so that was a plus. He said he only removed 250 from each breast. I went to the store yesterday, and just picked up a 34C bc I feel like that was size I am. And it feel. My surgeon did tell me don’t buy any bras for about 3 months to give my breast time to settle. But I still feel like I’m a C now instead of a B. When is your surgery. I will be posting updated pics today as well. :)

So glad the hematoma was fixed and you're healing. Your size and shape looks amazing.

I hope your healed and happy! It must of been a blast to buy bras that are so much more feminine and not so industrial looking! I can't wait to buy my first lacy halter bralette! So glad your pleased with your results and looking forward to seeing your continuing progress! I've been for my consultation with the surgeon and just waiting to hear when my surgery date is. I had a BR 25 yrs ago so going in for a second surgery is familiar to me,the only thing that I'm concerned about is the surgeon is different. You had a small amount removed but it sounds like your comfortable and that's what matters! I want a sizeable amount removed--like 5lbs+ if safely possible! My girls grew back the last time so i want to make sure a large amount is taken this time around.
Relax today and hope you and your ladies continue the healing journey--look forward to the pics whenever you can. Blessings :)

Oh wow: I can’t believe that grew back that much. I hope mines don’t since we didn’t remove as much as I wanted to. I’m a 34C now. I’m about to upload more pics soon here

Mine is a rare incident--this doesn't happen to most ladies so don't be concerned. :) The first time he didn't remove as much as he could of so I looked like i didn't have a BR. Then I had knee surgery due to an injury which caused weight gain due to inability to move and then menopause also came along. Then a bad bout of depression set in as well as being diagnosed with hypothyroid/hashimoto's which causes weight gain--and tada!!!!--my weight ballooned including my boobies :(
If i would of known all these health issues were going to happen i would of held off on the first surgery! Soon--hopefully--i can go for my second surgery. And i pray i have a better experience! My first surgeon also had a lousy bedside manner as well as non existent post op care. I was young and didn't know the right questions to ask and i was given no follow up info which made for not a very good recovery plus i ended up with one breast ending up bigger than the other. This was 25+ yrs ago and the world was different. My advice--do your homework on BR, take your time, take care of yourself especially post op and ask a ton of questions--don't worry about offending anyone-the health professionals are there to answer questions-if they seem put-off...find another surgeon. That was a lot of my problem-i had it done when computers were really just coming in so info online was not as available as now, I was young and naive, and i wasn't assertive enough and didn't want to bother the health care team with questions. Now at 56 I'm a lot more assertive with my healthcare!!
Should anyone happen to end up with a smaller size than what you wanted-don't sweat it--enjoy it because with age, gravity, unexpected weight gain, unhealthy diet, lack of knowledge(which was my case) your girls could end up large again.
Yes, please post pics if you wish--hope you and all the other gals heal well and enjoy their new look!

I was a 34DD. We were suppose to remove 400 from both breast, but he only removed 250. He said if he would have removed 400 I would have been left flat chested: i told him well 300 would have been fine but I’m happy

You look amazing! That's wonderful that your experience was such a positive one!! Take care! :)
