Went for a follow-up today surgeon thought I was 2 weeks post op since Im healing so well. I am by far the most happiest with myself than I've been for a long time. The worst thing I've experienced since surgery was constipation from the pain meds. Ladies please take stool softeners during this time. Other than that no complaints at all. From time to time I experience some sharp tingling burning pain not constant but definitely expected since the muscles and nerves are trying to regroup. I've had no real significant pain at all. No regrets whatsoever!

Surgery Day

On my surgery day I was brought back by the nurse to cleanse with antibacterial wipes. Then cleaned my nostrils with betadine, finally cleansed my mouth with oral solution. After than nurse placed my iv and I was put in a gown. Nurse then gave me zantac to relax my gastric secretions to prevent vomiting post op. Dr Parks came in did his drawings. Anestheologist came in and was really nice. He described what he would do and answered my questions. Then OR nurse came in put on my cap on my head I was then give anxiety med followed by med that knocked me completely out. Thanks Al I can remember until I woke up in recovery with a nurse asking my pain rate. Stayed in recovery for about an hour or longer. I was then discharged with prescriptions and instructions. I was placed in a surgical bra and was on my way. So far so good.

Day 1 post op and I must say I feel amazing! Got a small peek at my new girls and so far he did an awesome job! I'm not in any pain at all last night I had some soreness ,a little burning sensation that helped by using the ice pack but no real significant pain. Will post an update a pics later. Last but not least it was totally worth it!!!

Dr. Parks rocks!!! After initially meeting him, I knew he'd be the one to perform my surgery. He is so informative, professional, and answered any and all my questions without hesitation. His office staff are very kind, friendly, professional, and efficient and definitely recommend anyone to go for treatment. On the day of surgery, Dr. Parks came in shook my hand and introduced himself to my family and began his drawing on my breast. Before his departure, he told me about how many grams he'd remove went over some precautions post op and promised to take good care or me . He did just that! I am so happy and beyond pleased with his work! Thank you again!
