Breast reduction after 20 years - ready to get the weight off

During my 2 week post op visit Dr. T removed my stitches. It wasn’t painful at all. Removing the tape that covered the stitches was the most uncomfortable part. He sent me home with some blue surgical tape that also has silicon to continue taping my incisions to provide extra support during the healing process. I’m still weird about the size because don’t know what normal and big are for boobs but so far healing well.

Whew I wasn’t ready for this part! I got my first post op massage two days ago and it HURT! That level of pain should be illegal! When she applied pressed I would feel this burning sensation and apparently that’s because the fluid that accumulated was being released back into my body; ouch! However, at the end my armpit lipo area felt way smoother and it was easier to move my arms. My medical massage therapist was very impressed with Doctor T.’s work. Especially when I showed her the before pictures!

Can’t believe it’s been a week since I got the surgery of my dreams! I visited Doctor T for my first post op check up. The staff was so incredibly nice per usual! They looked genuinely happy to see me as they knew how scared I was to go thru with this! Doctor T removed the stitches from my lipo areas like my armpits, bra rolls etc. One surprising thing is when Dr. T examined my nipples, I had to tell him to touch the left one again because I kinda felt it. It wasn’t no wear her full senstation but it was something!!!!! Dr. T sent me home with my before pictures (they were mind blowing to see such boobs) and he gave me some FLOWERS! I left the office feeling GREAT mentally which is equally as important and your physical health and healing. All in all everyday that goes by I feel better and my brain is starting to take to these new boobs!
