Breast Reduction

WORTH IT$7,900
After years of wanting a reduction, I recently decided to get on the ball and get something done! I? have struggled with my self image, but also neck and back pain, and the problem with trying to find bras that fit.
I had my consultation with Dr. Deuber in Dallas, TX today, after researching several plain surgeons in the metroplex. He made me feel very confident in his abilities, and his patient educator was very informative ready to answer any questions I had. I will be scheduling soon, so updates to come!

it’s coming out of my pocket. I think I could’ve got it approved through insurance, but I was so impatient I didn’t want to wait for the process of approval.

I scheduled my breast reduction surgery today. Although I wish I could do it tomorrow, it does give me something to look forward to. March 2nd will be the big day! I can’t contain the excitement and anticipation.

As most of you, I have suffered from big boobs from a young age. I am about 5’6” and I weigh about 140lbs. I remember crying to my mom when I was about 15 or 16 for a Reduction, and she knew I was struggling with not only my self-confidence because of my breasts, but I constantly had neck and back pain, and even had to go to the chiropractor several times a week when I was playing sports. She told me to wait until I? was 18. I used to run track, and was pretty good at the mile, until my boobs started to grow. No amount of sports bras can contain large breasts bouncing up and down, and in junior high, that can be humiliating for a young girl, especially with the boys at that age.
I am now 21, I have a beautiful 11 month old daughter, and a very supportive husband (although he loves my breasts). He got me some Victoria Secret gift cards for Christmas and my birthday, so I decided that I would try and get a bra after 8 months of breast feeding. I did not want to ask for help, because I wear two sports bras every day, and I don’t like explaining to girls that my boobs are much bigger than they look. So, I decided I would go with a 34 DD, and that didn’t work out, by far. So, I went with a 36 DD, and that was a no go, as well. I opted for the 34/36 DDD and when those didn’t fit, I walked out of the store crying and immediately started my research on breast Reduction.
So, here I am now. I have my surgery scheduled, and I cannot explain the excitement I have, but also a little bit of fear. Not of complications, but that i will wake up from surgery and they won’t be small enough, and I will have wasted almost $8,000. Does anyone have any advice for this?
This site has helped me so much, and I hope that my review can help someone out like every one else’s reviews helped me.

I can’t give you any advice, but I’m in the same position you are in. I hope you continue to document your journey. I am planning on a reduction in June. It would be helpful to hear your progress and experiences.

My surgery is scheduled for later this month and I, too, am afraid the breasts won't be small enough.

I made the varsity cross country team as a freshman, then the next summer hit and I developed; I struggled as a sophomore, and barely made it through a horrible next season, then simply had to give it up. It was horrible, a totally relate.

it’s no fun. I think I will actually enjoy running again once I no longer have huge boobs bouncing around
