Dear Dr. Stephanie Cooper,

There are no words that can capture the depth of my gratitude.

Thank you—from the bottom of my heart—for guiding me through this journey of re-reconstruction after mastectomy (you fixed what went wrong from another doctors plastic surgery. Something I thought I had to live with). You did this with such skill & compassion. After three long and often difficult years, I finally feel whole again, and it’s because of you. Your care didn’t just help heal my body—it brought peace and hope back into my life.

You treated me not just as a patient, but as a person, and that made all the difference. I felt seen, safe, and cared for. That kind of impact goes far beyond medicine.

I wasn’t just another surgery, you made me feel important. I will never forget my follow up visit where you walked into the room, looked at me and said, “your journey is over” and we BOTH cried tears of joy!

This chapter is finally closing, and I feel stronger and more myself than I have in years. Thank you for giving me that gift.
