Exceptional Experience with Dr. Amalfi and Her Team at the Quatela Center

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Ashley Amalfi and the staff at the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and have had two breast reconstruction surgeries with Dr. Amalfi, which included breast expander placement, followed by exchange of the expanders for implants with lipografting. From the very beginning, Dr. Amalfi approached my case with such care, compassion, and truly listened to my concerns and questions about the reconstruction process. She has a wonderful bedside manner, unlike any surgeon that I have previously met. She reviewed surgical options available, and recommendations which would give me the most desired results. She is a very talented surgeon at the forefront of her field, and uses the most up-to-date techniques which led to wonderful results. Every staff member that I interacted with at the Quatela Center was kind, compassionate, made me feel incredibly comfortable and I always felt I was in excellent hands. For my second surgery with Dr. Amalfi I had the opportunity to have my surgery at the Lindsey House Surgery Center, which was also an outstanding part of my experience. The center is beautiful, clean, and has the most technologically up-to-date equipment. I had a great experience with Margaret Brown, CRNA, who listened to all my concerns with my previous anesthesia experiences, and was able to control my pain, while preventing several post-op issues I've had in the past. After being given the diagnosis of breast cancer this past year, my surgical experience with Dr. Amalfi and her team has been an incredibly healing part of my journey, allowing me to regain dignity and confidence. I am beyond grateful for everything Dr. Amalfi and her team have done for me and would highly recommend her to anyone facing breast surgery.
