Double Reconstruction - so happy with the results

When I first met Dr Ngan I was terrified. I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. I knew I was facing a double mastectomy but what would it entail? How would my body look afterwards? How would I feel after the surgery? I was so grateful that Dr Ngan welcomed me with such kindness and concern. Obviously she was a qualified and skilled surgeon I expected her work would be of the highest quality but she also had such empathy in the way she helped me understand and make difficult decisions about the surgery to come. This was a massive and complicated surgery and it was perfect . . I was so happy with the results. Taking the chance to have the removal and reconstruction at the same time was hugely beneficial for me psychologically. Being a cancer patient you get used to many people examining your body, every time they commented positively on the surgery and how beautifully it had been done. Dr Ngan’s team were an amazing bonus, the hospital and the nurses were great and Cindy the practice nurse was so helpful and a ray of sunshine during my recovery. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Ngan for this surgery
