5 weeks PO
Saw my dr for my 4.5 week yesterday. Visit was good but did talk to him about some of my concern area. The first being that right above my incision seems to be a swollen still. I don’t know the medical term he gave me but he did give me one but basically he said that some bodies when they drained fluid instead of draining down they drain up which causes the fat to settle in this spot. Not what I wanted to hear but he basically said I have to stay in my garment for six more weeks and then he will take another look at it. Worst case he will have to go back in and lipo that area. Which sucks even more because the lipo was definitely the hardest part of this whole process. Then the right side seems to not have as good as a curve shape like the left. So we will evaluate that in 6 weeks as well. I know that is not du to his work but my body, and was risk I took. However, I set out to have a flat stomach and God willing I will have the flattest stomach possible. My breast look amazing they feel amazing basically they’re mostly healed so here’s a few pictures for my update. I love the shape I’m getting in my stomach when you look straight on it’s definitely looking more snatched. When I have clothes on you can’t even see the problem areas I have concerns with so that is good that I can look good in clothes. I can even put on a bathing suit bottom and u can’t really tell so that a plus. Going to start walking this week a little to help build m energy back up. I’m working from one finally and next week I go back into the office full time. Pray for me haha
Three weeks!
So I’m finally at three weeks. The bruising from the lipo is mostly gone. I am till moving really slow and get tired when I do too much, which seems to be often. I do have some pain till above my incision on my right side, where I think the tissue is still healing. That’s really the only issue I have now as far as pain. I am happy with my results still but my belly above my incision is not flat yet. My doctor promises it’s normal and will go down. I am still really hard in places I got lipo so once that softens up, my belly will have a more natural look.
My breast still feel great so I’m happy About that. I’m putting arnica gel on everyday and rubbing my scars with vitamin E and cocoa butter per my doctors instructions.

Post op day 5-9.
On day five I got my drains out for my breath which was nice but honestly my breast have been the easiest of this entire process. Starting day five I will say things did get a little bit harder. I feel it because, like most tummy tuck patience, I also included some Liposuction with my procedure. So starting on day five I started to get some bruising where the liposuction was done and currently I am pretty bruised on my back area, my flanks, my midsection my and inner/outer thighs. This is making it painful when doing a lot of stuff and so far the worst of this this entire process. Sitting down, getting in and out of the car and I get sore and tired faster now then I did the previous days. I am using arnica gel to Help with the bruising, hopefully by the weekend they go away. All in all I am not complaining because the pain is tolerable and really more uncomfortable if anything. I still have my belly drains in and they are open so I have to put pads on them to catch everything. Kinda yucky but but surgeon said this was the best drains for all the fluid they put in me during the procedure. Also, I loved my surgeon. Dr. Marcus Crawford in Acworth, GA. He is very involved in all aspects of his practice which made me know he cared. I’ll write a full review on him later.
