Breast Lift with Implants (Tuberous Breast Correction Surgery)

WORTH IT
A search for "abnormal looking breasts" led me to an online article "My Breasts Almost Ruined My Life (NSFW)" published anonymously in Cosmopolitan. The author's words felt my own as she described the inadequate feeling I'd grown up with, only arriving at the realization that my breasts were deformed after reading her article and searching the web for "tuberous breast deformity". The author spent weeks researching leading plastic surgeons before finding Dr. Adam R. Kolker, M.D. My experience mirrored hers so closely that I went ahead and scheduled an initial consultation with Dr. Kolker.
I was already certain before our initial consultation that he was the perfect fit: his before and after images were a testament to his genius, as every after image showcased the work of sculpted beauty.
My decision was only further reinforced after speaking to Dr. Kolker and Sabrina and listening to his approach and overview of tuberous breast correction surgery–not only did he explain a complex medical procedure in a simple manner that I could understand, but he did so with utmost consideration and kindness.
My particular case required breast implants with lift (augmentation mastopexy) to be completed in two surgeries, an initial surgery to insert tissue expanders and a second surgery about five months later to remove the tissue expanders and replace them with silicone implants.
Both surgeries were seamless and successful as Dr. Kolker and his outstanding team (Ashley, Katta, Lindsey and Sabrina) are the epitome of medical sophistication and expertise; every person on the team was a pleasure to interact with.
Having recently completed my six-month check up I was left feeling bittersweet–at once feeling beyond satisfied with my physical transformation, my breasts having gone from partially non-existent and deformed to perfectly proportionate, but also lamenting the fact that my visits to Dr. Kolker's office, which I had grown used to and which were always so welcoming and considerate had come to an end, at least until my one year check up; until then I'd like to express my gratitude to them for their kindness and excellence.
