Adam Kolker, MD, FACS

It’s hard to put into words how highly I think of Dr. Kolker-- not only as an exceptional surgeon, but as a truly kind human being. I met with nine plastic surgeons (and one general surgeon!) during my research process, and I can say with full confidence that Dr. Kolker is all of the things you want in a surgeon: meticulous, thorough, safety-focused, and incredibly talented.

After two pregnancies with large babies, I developed severe diastasis recti and muscle laxity. I looked six months pregnant and dreaded getting dressed, always needing to cover my stomach to avoid being congratulated on a nonexistent third baby. Several surgeons told me I might still have abdominal protuberance after my muscle repair or even suggested full abdominal wall reconstruction with a general surgeon due to the degree of muscle laxity I had. Based on Dr. Kolker’s history of successfully repairing severe diastasis, I felt confident in his ability to execute the most effective muscle repair possible for my presentation.

Even though this was my first surgery, I had no anxiety going into it-- that’s how deeply I trusted Dr. Kolker to deliver the best possible aesthetic outcome while prioritizing my safety every step of the way. He’s also surrounded by an incredible team, which was very important to me in choosing my surgeon. From my very first call through my recovery, everyone in his office has been warm, organized, super responsive, and genuinely supportive.

The surgery itself went beautifully. During my recovery, Dr. Kolker was consistently attentive and available-- even after I returned home (I traveled to NYC from Boston). Remarkably, I experienced no pain, no bruising, took only Tylenol, and have had virtually no swelling. At five weeks post-op, I am absolutely THRILLED with my results: strong and natural abdominal tone, a natural-looking belly button, and a beautiful, thin incision line (I will post my before and after pictures once I have them from his office).

This was my first surgery, and I could not have imagined feeling more cared for. Dr. Kolker and his entire team made this experience transformative. In repairing the damage pregnancy did my body, he really gave me my life back.

I have wanted a breast reduction for years and am SO happy that I finally underwent the procedure with Dr. Kolker. After undergoing significant weight gain during pregnancy, followed by six months of breastfeeding my son, and eventually being fortunate enough to shed that same baby weight, I decided to undergo a breast lift and augmentation this spring.

As my wedding day approached, my photographer surprised me with a question that caught me off guard: what were my biggest insecurities? From the initial consultation to the follow up appointment, Dr. Kolker and the entire team provided exceptional care and support. They took the time to thoroughly explain the procedures, answer all my questions, and walk me through post operative care.

Wanting to look and feel my absolute best for this special occasion, I decided to undergo otoplasty and under-eye fat transfer surgery.

The results of both surgeries surpassed my expectations. My ears are now beautifully proportioned, and the under-eye fat transfer has left me looking refreshed and rejuvenated. I feel like a more confident version of myself, ready to walk down the aisle with grace and poise.

Starting size was 32AA/A. Now i’m about a 32C/34B.
I also had slight tuberous breasts that were corrected which resulted in a higher price for my surgery.
I wanted to stay right in between big and small and that’s what he gave me.
I cannot express enough how much I loved Dr. Kolker and his team! As soon as I met him I knew he was going to be the doctor for me. A lot of people told me I was too young to be doing this surgery (18), and other doctors treated me as so; Dr. Kolker didn’t. He was so positive during every visit, gave you as much time as needed, and never failed to explain everything in perfect detail. Whether it’s in person or on the phone him and his staff are kind, comforting, extremely helpful, and overall just the best people. They are also very responsive. During recovery I had a concern/question and sent an email around 10pm, his staff answered immediately. Of course that may not always happen but it’s nice to know they respond as soon as they see your message. My recovery went extremely well. I can go on and on about him and his team!! Besides how they treat you, my results are absolutely perfect!! I’m 6 months post op right now and they just keep getting better and better. I truly believe out of the surgeons I could’ve chose from no one else could give me the results he did. Thank you to him I am in love with my body and feel comfortable in my own skin, I’m confident! I used to cry trying on tops and now I love every single one I put on. I cannot urge you enough to pick Dr. Kolker.
