Year and a Half Udate
WORTH IT$11,800
Sharing my 1.5yr post op update. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how the results are looking and how the scars are healing. Overall, the scarring has faded a bit since the year mark. I reached out to Dr. Yamahata a few weeks ago and he mentioned that they will continue to fade. The scar under my right boob is still slightly raised, but the other scars have been flat for quite a while. I’m hoping they fade a bit more, but if not I’m still really happy with the results.

1 Year Post Op
It’s been a year, so wanted to give an update! Here are some thoughts after going through the surgery and healing process:
1) If you’re planning on getting a lift, keep in mind that scarring will occur and that everyone’s scars fade at different rates. My scars feel like they have taken much longer to heal than others I’ve seen on Real Self. Mine have a long way to go before they are fully healed and faded, but I still love them and couldn’t be happier. I think going into the surgery knowing that scars are inevitable really helped me mentally with the healing process. I will post an update once my scars are faded…I’m “patiently” waiting!
2) My boobs are definitely not perfect and do not look identical, but neither were my boobs to begin with. I had significant asymmetry to begin with, so this is a huge improvement.
3) My boobs have fully dropped at this point, and they hang much more naturally than they did a few months ago. I thought they were going to somewhat stop dropping after 6 months, but I was wrong! I think they still have upper pole fullness, but they look much natural now under clothes.
4) I’ve been getting a lot of direct messages about BII….I appreciate people wanting to educate others on it, but it’s often unsolicited advice and almost feels like I’m getting lectured about it. I think everyone should do their research before deciding to get breast implants and feel free to consult healthcare professionals and this community if they are feeling symptoms after surgery. But unless someone is asking for advice or stating that they have symptoms, I’m not sure it’s appropriate to lecture others who have gotten a breast augmentation about why breast implants are a bad idea. I’m writing about my journey based on MY experience, and so far I’m very happy with my decision.

Stunning results, stay blessed.
Thank you!
They are beautiful and perfect! I would love results like yours.. definitely a wish pic for me!
Thank you so much!
AMEN to the comment about BII. Make your own decisions, and don't force your opinions onto others!! I love your boobs :) I think you make a lot of wonderful points that I wish more women knew...Such as asymmetry post-op. Asymmetry is perfectly normal, no two boobs are the same! I have been reminding myself that since my revision and it has helped me remain positive. Sometimes we are just too hard on ourselves!
Thank you for your comment! How did your revision go?! I'm sorry you're having to go through the recovery process again, but hoping you get the results you want this time around. Wishing you a smooth recovery!
Amazing!! Seriously, the best results! What size bra are you wearing now?
Thank you!! I normally just wear bralettes or sports bras (small/medium), but I would guess I'm a 34D/34DD.
They look great and your scars look amazing!
Thank you!

6 months post
With clothes on...
First time dressing up in a long time! I’ve been living in athleisure since the pandemic, so it was fun to have an excuse to dress up this weekend for a Valentine’s dinner out. I haven’t been been able to pull off wearing a low neckline without a bra for the past few years because my nipples were always pointing downwards, were completely asymmetrical, and my boobs have been deflated. It feels nice to have them looking perky with clothes on!
No real updates since my last few posts - the shape and scarring still look the same. My horizontal scars under my breast folds are so stubborn, so I’m patiently waiting for them to lighten. My vertical scars are still visible (look the same as in the previous pics), but they are progressing/ fading faster than my horizontal scars along the folds. Overall I’m really happy with how they look at this 6 month(ish) mark!

Love the dress, they look so good!
Thank you! This was probably my only chance to dress up and get out of leggings and sweats haha
hey, im considering a breastlift + augmentation too but im scared for the scars. do you think they bother you and are all in your face or is it not really noticeable and only when you look very good?
Hi! The scars don't really bother me. Initially I was really upset when I realized I needed a lift because I was freaked out about the scarring, but ultimately I felt it was the only way to get the perkier results I wanted. My scars have been healing well and my doctor did a really great job with the incisions, so I think over time they should fade and won't be too noticeable. Everyone heals differently/ scars differently, but it's also really important to find a really good doctor who will minimize the scarring with neat incisions. Good luck with your journey! Happy to answer any questions :)
thanks for your answer! im having my first consultation tomorrow but im already pretty sure I need a lift. im also pretty upset about it like you were especially since im only 19, but like you said id rather have perky nice boobs with some scars than saggy boobs haha. thank you! I love your results :)
Thank you! :) Good luck with the consultation tomorrow!! It's a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, but I think it's so worth it if you're looking for perkier boobs!
You look incredible!!! I just had mine done last week and seeing your photos are so encouraging and I’m very excited for mine to progress hopefully as well as yours have! Thank you for sharing!!! They look perfect!!!
Thank you!! The first few weeks are filled with so many ups and downs, but it's exciting to see how they change and progress daily! Good luck with your recovery :)
You look beautiful! Congrats on your results.
Thank you! :)
You have the best results of a lift + implants that I’ve seen on here so far. Definitely will use you as my wish pic.
Thank you!!

He's now telling me he would do another "scar revision" from the outside. AKA another lift. For 8 G. The exact thing that should have been done with revision. I really don't even know what to do or where to go, or who to trust anymore......
