Breast Lift with Implants tomorrow...

I will have my surgery with Dr. Yamahata tomorrow and it hasn't fully sunken in. I'm currently a C cup but have asymmetry, significant sagging, and almost normal upper pole fullness. I'm 26, no kids, and have recently lost 30 pounds. I would ideally like to be a full D or even small DD, but of course proportionate since I'm only 5'1. I had researched a lot of doctors in the Bay Area and ended up really liking Dr. Yamahata after reading so many reviews and seeing his lift results. So far he's been very responsive to my questions and has made me feel at ease about the procedures. I tried on sizers at his office and am leaning towards 400cc but am a bit nervous if they are the right size to attain the look I want and am not sure ultimately what size he will end up picking during surgery.

Most Dr in the Q&A forum state for every 150cc you "should" increase one cup. I think no matter what you do you'll be happy! 400 will look nice but just remember if going under they are a bit compressed. You lose roughly 10-15%. At first they may appear small but with d&f things will change for the better. Can't wait to see your next update!

Thank you for the advice on this! I'm all bandaged up and have my post op today. I'm really excited to see how they turn out over the next few months! On a side note, I had followed your journey on real set before getting mine done :)

Hello there! Your boobs turned out great! You and I are about same height, I am 5'0" and 120 lbs. I currently have 400cc and a full B, small C. I was a 32A prior to my first augmentation. Now, after 2 babies and slight ptosis (sagging) I'm getting a revision and was told my body frame wouldn't fit 650-700 that I wanted. What size implants (cc's) did your physician use?

Hi Jen, my physician used 350cc ultra high profile implants. Good luck with your surgery!

Day of Operaton

I had the operation yesterday morning. The nursing staff was really friendly and kept me calm prior to the surgery. Before I knew it, the surgery was already finished and the pain was not too bad. I felt a lot of pressure on my chest and the bra felt extremely tight, but other than that nothing excruciating. I was in and out of it during the test because of the meds, and had a hard time sleeping at night since I was sleeping most of the day. Btw, I had local anesthesia/ Ivy sedate, so I was in a twilight zone but not completely knocked our during surgery the way I would have been with general anesthesia. I preferred it though, as I experienced no nausea and recovered from the drowsiness quicker.

Day Two Updates

Today is day two and I’m back home (I stayed in Sac for a few days since I live in SF). Yesterday morning I had a post op appointment with Dr. Yamahata. He and the nurses looked at the incisions and told me everything looked good and I had no bruising, which was surprising! I had eaten a lot of pineapple the days leading to surgery, so I’m wondering if that helped with the bruising. I really have not felt any sharp pains or anything relating to the incisions, the only discomfort has been from tightness in my chest and from swelling. My chest feels the tightest in the mornings and evenings. The nurses gave me a bigger surgical bra and have me wearing a band across the upper part of my chest to help my boobs lower. I still haven’t seen the incisions yet, so I’m nervous but excited to finally see them tomorrow once I shower.
