Post op day 14
I’m loving my new boobs! They are both still settling. My left is still slightly bigger but I’m hoping that it’s more swollen than the other one so I’ll have to give it a little bit more time. I’m still not sure what bra size I am but I can still fit my 36C sports bras but now they’re just more fuller. My incisions are healing up nicely. After my visit this upcoming week, I will start using scar creams. I’m actually very impressed with the scarring. I thought my scars would be a lot worse. Once I start using the scar cream, I think they will disappear.
Im not able to sleep completely on my sides, it still feels weird and uncomfortable. I am able to sleep on my back without my wedge pillow, but I do still need a lot of pillows for comfort. I was off full pain pills after day 5 post op. On day 6 I started using half a pain pill when needed (mostly before bed). I was completely off pain meds by day 10. Pains meds gave me slight constipation (3 days without pooping). I took a probiotic on the 3rd day and everyday after that and everything back to normal. They’re also made me feel very foggy brain and out of it, which is why I stopped using them. Other than that, it’s not so bad.

8 days post op
This morning was the first morning I woke up and it didn’t feel like I had weights on my chest. My boobs felt like a lot of my swelling went down. I went in to see my doctor for my one week check up and he took the tape off of my incisions. He said I looked great and my boobs starting to drop in to place. The skin around my areoles will start to relax more, once my incisions heal. They’re still swollen but I’m hoping once the swelling goes down, I will be around a 36 D or DD. I am continuing to wear a bra 24hrs a day but it is hard. I hate wearing bras but I want my investment to look as good as possible so I’m going to keep wearing it.
Day 7 post op
This has definitely been a journey! My boobs are still pretty swollen so it’s hard for me to see how big they actually will be. I’m concerned that they’re too big but I know it’s too early to say. I’d have to wait at least 2-3 months for them to heal. I tried to go without my pain pills yesterday and that was not fun at all. I had the worst time sleeping and was in pain to the point I was in tears. Today I decided to only take half of my pain pill when needed which I felt much better about doing. Tomorrow is my one week check up and I think I’m going to get my stitches out... I’m not quite sure but I hope it goes well.
