Scheduled for a breast lift and downsizing implants tomorrow

WORTH IT$12,000
I had my first BA in 2006, I received 325 saline implants filled to 340cc. I wasn’t too thrilled with them over all, but at the time I didn’t have the money to have them fixed. Six years later in feb 2012 I decided on 500cc silicone implants with a different surgeon. Again, I was left underwhelmed. In May of 2012 I did my third BA to 800cc silicone implants. I enjoyed them the last 6 years, however after 2 pregnancies/nursing two children losing the baby weight they are heavy and I feel slightly embarrassed with how large they are. They don’t look terrible but I have a lot of back pain and they make me look ‘fat’. I have elected to do a fourth surgery and go down to 470cc silicone implant with a lift. I am active with my two boys and want something that fits my lifestyle as a mom and wife. I want people to say ‘wow!’ Instead of ‘woah!’ I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow with Dr. Andrew Wolfe in Golden, CO. I met with three other surgeons (one in NYC) and immediately felt Dr. Wolfe was my surgeon. My husband attended all the consults and agreed with me. I am definitely more nervous this go around since I now have two small children, and will be having a lift and capsulorrophy. This will involve more downtime, pain and recovery than my previous procedures. I will hopefully be able to post more about my recovery as it happens.
My stats:
35 years old
5’3 125lbs
2 children
Current implants: style 45 800cc Uhp

They look awesome! I know the feeling I have two boys and they keep me busy too. Just wondering if he gave you moderate or high profile?

Hi, thank you! They are high profile.

I love your recover pictures! They look exactly how mine look right now. I had a full anchor lift with HP silicone gel 375cc/475cc. While I’m commenting, where did you get your sports bra? I love it!

Hi Britt!! Thank you! You look fabulous as well!! The striped one is from Victoria’s Secret. Is that the one you’re referring to?

Home recovering

I was so nervous this morning, and I am happy to be home resting in my bed. Dr. Wolfe’s staff was amazing and I felt very comfortable the entire time. The anesthesiologist was top notch and thoroughly explained everything to me and my husband prior to taking me back. He also did a great job knocking me out because I remember being wheeled into the OR all giggly and then... I woke up in recovery! I did feel a little more woosy than I remember from my previous surgeries, and my throat was dry, but no throat pain from being intubated. I am more stiff and sore with a dull pain this surgery due to the fact that I there are more internal stitches with tightening the pockets but I am taking my medication and feel ok. Dr. Wolfe was able to use my capsule as I had hoped and not a mesh. I have not taken the bra off to peek yet. I sometimes get light headed when I see blood so I want to wait until I am feeling a bit more steady. I am also not sure what my initial reaction will be to the vertical scars. I just went to be very prepared.

It feels very weird though to look in the mirror and not have boobs sagging/covering my waist and I can also hold my arms closer to my body since the side boob isn’t taking up an entire area code on my body. I already feel lighter and more free! The next few days will be tough but I am sure the end result will make it well worth it. ????

I have an upper abdomen and look long and leaner. Not just all boobs! I am feeling so happy ???? it feels good to be able to rest my arms at my side versus on side boob. I am still a bit hunched (out of habit from the old heavy boobs) in my back but I am hoping to straighten it back out as I recover!

You look fantastic! Perhaps try some reformer or mat Pilates when you're feeling better. It's great for posture. The instructors tend to nag you about it.
