Girls all settled

WORTH IT
Look at how amazing they turned out! Dr. Hardy is the only choice here in FL he’s a miracle worker! I swear by him! They feel so soft now as well. I have been massaging here and there since the surgery so thinking that really helped!

Tomorrow is 2 weeks!

I cannot believe tomorrow is the 2 week mark! To be honest, time has been so slow for me. I’m ready to be healed and able to go do stuff! LOL. I can start driving again this weekend, which will help time go by instead of being in the house all of the time. I’m experiencing some numbness on R breast, from the nipple outwards to my armpit. It had a little bit of red to the numb area, barely any but it scared me enough to call dr Hardy’s office for reassurance. Bless his heart, he called me right away assuring me the numbness was totally normal and to email him pictures of my breasts so he could ensure all is looking well. It’s all good. I am just a worrywart over my new babies! I can’t get over how assuring and attentive Dr Hardy is! I will update a few more pictures this weekend. My girls have dropped already a bit also, but that change could also be attributed to swelling going down. How are you all doing in your journeys? See ya later!

Update? Did you get the tape off? Love to see a picture update.
Nope! Went for the two week appointment and Dr Hardy said he will work it off at my three week appointment. I will be 25 days post op at that date. I can’t wait to see my new nipples! I also am ready for the time to go by so I can be healed and resume my activities.
How has your healing been with the donut lift? Are the scars healing well?
Can you post an update?
What size please? Thanks

10 days post op

I feel like they’re looking better and better each day! Yesterday was day 9 post op, and I felt well enough to clean my house a bit (only wiping surfaces gently). I did tire quickly and end up napping right after though. Today I cooked for the first time! I am regaining my energy little by little. It’s hard to believe just over a week ago I was in surgery. Although the process is a painful one at first, I would not change what I did for anything. I already feel so confident! Dr Hardy truly gave me my confidence back and for that I can’t thank him enough. He gave me perfect boobs. I still have some bruising but it’s getting better every day. I go see dr Hardy next Monday and I’m pretty sure we’re taking the tape off so I will get to see my new nips! Yay!

Did he put any type of mesh (Not sure of the medical term) so your aerials don’t stretch and get bigger from the pressure and size of implants? I noticed that is a problem for some when there is a lift done around the areola.
Good question @rjenkins1984 ~ you see the areolas stretch quite a bit when a donut lift is done and the huge implants put pressure on the incision.
I’m actually not sure! I’m pretty sure some internal stitches were placed to prevent the stretching. I will ask him at my next appointment!
The change from right after your surgery to this point in time is very evident! Your boobs already look softer and prettier and most settled. Have you been doing massages to help, or was it all just time and healing on its own?
I have slacked on massaging. It really was just good ol time and dropping. I didn’t wear a right bra either, I wore a looser comfortable fitting sports bra which helped them drop and settle. I couldn’t be happier with them! Tapes gonna come off next week! I saw my doctor today and he wanted to wait one more week, and I am so anxious to see my new nipples!
My doctor just gave me the go ahead to start massages (had my 5 day post op yesterday) and I somehow forgot everything he said to me. I must have been in a daze! I got home and was like, hmm did he say start now or next week? And am I supposed to do them in all directions or just the top to help them drop? And what did he say about massaging the nipple scars again? It is SO NOT LIKE ME because I usually ask a million questions and remember everything. So now I’m just like well, do I really need to do them since I can’t even remember what I’m supposed to do?

I’m so excited for you to have your tape off. That seems like the thing you were most looking forward to, and it’s taken longer than you expected. My doctor didn’t use steri-strips over the stitches—just surgical glue. It’s actually been really good though! When is your schedule for post-ops? You seem to have so many more than I do, and I don’t understand why I have so little. I had my 5 day yesterday, and then nothing until July 24!!!!!
