I feel botched
I wanted to wait on writing this review in hope I’d end up happy. I wish Dr. Steely had been up front with the amount of areola that was going to be left outside my nipple. AFTER I paid in full I was then informed that a little areola would be possibly left under my left nipple but he would try his hardest so that wouldn’t happen again he reassured me it would be tiny and only really noticeable to him and I. The warning came when I was alone without my bf and no mention of returning the money paid before the disclosure had been made. Overall I’m am ok with how they look if that extra areola was removed or I felt like the doctor was as concerned with it as I am . I would have no complaints. But when I brought it up at my 6 month post op I felt like I was brushed off. I was asked to wait till August to come in a make an appointment I’ve had a few consults and from my research 6 months should be enough time to start talking about revision. As a top less dancer who was in a relationship at the time of her operation I now feel stuck in the situation I am in not able to return to work. I will be stuck not going into work till the end of the year because I look botched. I talked to Raven and Cindy about this Raven has always been extremely helpful and understood my situation but was shut down by Cindy Who said the best she could do is move my appointment up one week August. If they would’ve been up front with the results on how much areola would be left I would’ve thought twice about the procedure I would’ve been able to continue working. I feel depressed and this is now affecting my mental health. I hate how my boobs were left. I feel like Dr. Steely main concern after surgery is if I have shown my friends. “To send my friends his way” my friends and my ex hate how they look. I was really hoping after the six months the doctor would really work with me to look ok so I could get back to work. Overall if you are a dancer and or just want to look normal I would reconsider. Considering originally I was assured that scarring would be very minimal never any mention of leftover areola at my consult. I am being quoted 8K to fix Dr. Steely's work on top of the 13 K I paid to not be able to go to work and looking botched. I understand having time o heal but other have told me 6 months is enough. I unfortunately get the impression that Dr. steely is not concerned with fixing this and wants to wait till his slower season and is more concerned with filling in more new clients.
