3 Weeks Post Op - Very happy
PerkyPuppiesFebruary 21, 2020
WORTH IT$7,425
I'm three weeks post op and had a few knots from the stitches removed today. Had the staples removed last week. I'm allowed to start scar therapy now and bought a small tube of cream. I plan to buy some silicone strips online tomorrow as well. I'm a little worried about all the staple marks but hopeful that they will go away with time. I'm still a little bruised but it's much more faded than it was last week.
Dr. Jugenburg is a miracle worker. My breasts look fabulous and the before was a nightmare.
In total I had around 150 grams removed from each breast so this was a small reduction but a HUGE lift. Very happy with the shape and height and size. The swelling has gone down a fair bit and I've got no pain whatsoever. Three more weeks of sleeping on my back and no lifting of anything over 5 lbs.

Got my first look today
PerkyPuppiesJanuary 30, 2020
Nurses came to change my dressings and I took a pic in the mirror. I'm really happy with the shape and size. You can see there was a fair bit of blood but they said it was normal. I am swollen on top and I think that will end up looking more teardrop by the time it all settles down. For now, I will enjoy the rounded look.

Surgery Day!!
PerkyPuppiesJanuary 30, 2020
It’s about 12 hours post op right now and so far so good. Very little swelling that I can tell and absolutely no pain. It is slightly tender, but it’s hardly worth mentioning. I’ve already dropped from 2 perc to 1 every four hours.
My only minor concern at the moment is the blood. My right side has very little bleeding on the dressing but my left side has much more and it’s wet. My follow up will be before 9 am so I’m comfortable waiting. If I had swelling or pain,I might be more concerned, but so far, so good.
Dr. Jugenburg and his staff are top notch. I’m very pleased so far.
I’ve been told the surgery went very well and Dr. 6ix said to gently massage my breast tissue to promote blood flow to the area.
Here’s a snapshot of what my day looked like start to finish:
We checked into the hotel then checked in with Dr. 6ix’s team two hours before surgery. We went back to our room and waited for a call to come back for the pre-op. A little under an hour before surgery, they called. I wore comfy clothes that would be easy to put on after surgery. Nurses took me to a private room and I changed into a gown, hair net and booties. They asked a bunch of questions and gave me a cocktail of meds to take with just a few sips of water. Next, the anesthesiologist came in to talk to me. A staff member checked in on me and we discussed whether or not I consented to snapping, which I did and I signed the form. Dr Jugenburg joined us and did all my measurements and marked my skin. After that, they took me right back to the OR for my IV. My legs got wrapped in nice warm contraptions that massaged my legs to help with blood flow and before I knew it I was waking up from surgery in the recovery room.
Surgery took about two hours and I spent another two in recovery before the nurse helped me change and took me back to our hotel room.
I was able to eat and drink and I had a nap without incident. My biggest complaint is that I can’t sleep because I slept so much today already. :)
I’ve been walking back and forth the hotel room and stretching my feet and legs in bed to keep the circulation going.
I’m looking forward to having my dressings changed and will have a chance to ask about the bleeding.
