So excited for my new boobs!

So I’m 34, breastfed both of my children, and have been saving up for this, for what feels like forever! I went to a consult with Dr. Mabourakh and felt comfortable with his knowledge and honesty. He said I had stage 2 ptosis, and he would do a Benelli lift with the implants under the muscle. I decided on sientra 385 moderate profile implants to go from a 34b to a 34c/d. I was able to schedule the surgery 2 weeks later, went in for the pre-op, and then had my surgery 2 days ago. I had some bleeding the night I came home, so I was freaking out. I left a message and Dr. Mabourakh called me back within 2 minutes! He has been excellent in following up, as well as having his staff follow up with me, even having me come in to take a few pictures and make sure I didn’t have internal bleeding. I go back for my post-op in one week. My boobies are pretty darn swollen, but I can’t wait to see what they look like when they settle down! I’m so excited to have nice perky boobs again, since breastfeeding turned them into pancakes. Lol. I love the Folsom surgery center, everyone there is super sweet, as well as Maggie at the Stockton office! Although I live almost 2 hours away from Folsom, it was definitely worth the drive!

1 week post-op BA with Benelli lift- possible nipple necrosis?

Humorous846548
So it’s been a rough week. On day 3 I noticed my left nipple was getting pretty dark, which led me to think nipple necrosis. Went to Dr. he said it could just be bruising, especially since I still have feeling. Prescribed me nitro-bid ointment to put on it. That stuff gives horrible migraines, so I’ve been taking a lot of excedrin. My nipple isn’t looking any worse, so that’s a good sign. We are closely monitoring it, as I send him pics every 48 hours. He’s been great at getting back to me immediately! I’m just hoping and praying that everything is okay! I will be devastated if it dies!

My left boob definitely is far more bruised than my right one... hoping that’s the cause of the nipple being darker! Anyone else experience this? I’ve searched and searched but can’t find much....

Nipple is ok!

Humorous846548
So I went to see Dr. Mabourakh yesterday and he said everything looks great! He said he’s not worried about my nipple anymore. He took out the stitches, and took off the tape that was under the breasts. Said I can stop using the nipple cream. He did give me a band that goes around the very top of the breasts to help them drop... it’s not very comfortable but if it gives me the results I want, then I’m okay with it!

I just have to reiterate. Dr. Mabourakh and Maggie at the Stockton office have been so great! They always reply immediately whenever I have a question, he followed up with me every 48 hours to make sure my nipple was ok, and he’s made sure that my new boobs are going to be fantastic! I got a chance to finally see the incision line under the breasts and you can barely see it!! He did a fantastic job at closing it up and I bet I barely have any scars!
