So disappointing.
$10,000
I have desired to have beautiful breasts ever since I was a teenager. In my mid twenties, I changed my lifestyle and lost about thirty lbs. I had always been larger chested, but my boobs were the first thing to shrivel up after the weight loss - a 36DD to just barely a 32B. I found Dr. Hochstein on instagram and admired his work as he was dubbed the “boob god.” I decided schedule my surgery with him.
My first impression during my consultation was okay. He seemed fairly aloof and passive. He examined me briefly and asked what my goals were. I told him I understood that I would need a lift, but I did want them to be large. I showed him a few pictures of what I was imagining, and he advised it was not realistic, which was fine. We agreed to go with the high profile 500cc cohesive gel implant and an anchor lift. The following day, I went in for the surgery. He came in marked me up, asked if I had any questions and left. Overall, my interaction with him throughout the entire process was all of ten minutes.
Post-op recovery was really easy. I experienced very little pain. However, a few weeks following the procedure, multiple holes began to open along the incisions. His office assured me this was normal, so I continued to keep them clean and dry. Many weeks later they finally healed over, leaving ugly mottled scars on both sides.
Fast forward to a year later, both breasts had began to drop lower than I anticipated. There was no fullness in the upper poles and the right breast was slightly lower. I reached out to his office and they agreed I could return for a revision if I paid for anesthesia fees. I decided to include some chin lipo during this visit. When I arrived, I noticed there was some shortness with his staff, as though they didn’t need to be courteous since I was only coming in for a revision. Dr Hochstein was just as brief, asked no questions, and made me feel as though my visit was an inconvenience. I didn’t bother going to the follow up the next day because I felt so unwelcome at his office.
Two and a half years later, my breasts resemble how they looked shortly after the first surgery. The right side has bottomed out and sags about an inch below the left and I am so disappointed. It seems to me that Dr. Hochstein focuses more on quantity over quality and I would not recommend him.
