Breast lift /reduction w/ 300cc implant 34 yr old .IN LOVE!

I have spent the past 10 years wanting a breast lift. I spent countless hours on real self and google looking at before and after photos of plastic surgeons all around the world trying to find the best artist. I know I am incredibly picky and most photos I saw of breast lifts were awful . I disliked the placement of the breast tissue , the placement of the nipple , the scars looked jagged, the shape of the new breast was distorted . In most cases I saw little to no improvement And thought even with saggier boobs the patients looked better in their before photos . I was absolutely willing to travel across the country to have my surgery performed if I was able to find the most suitable provider . I did the usual scouting of Instagram and surgeon websites . I found that they all highlighted their “best work” and if you looked deeper you found a plethora of not so great looking boobs. I was defeated and realized I would just have saggy boobs for life .
I finally stumble upon Dr Ellen’s site and see all her work . I’m stunned and impressed . The reconstruction and reduction cases she has done are remarkable. I wasn’t looking for either , but I knew she had a wonderful eye if she could create those transformations . I scheduled a consult and was not sold . It had nothing to do with her or the staff , actually the PA Kim was one of the best I’ve ever met . The reasoning was the Crisalix computer imaging . You take body photos in office that they put up on a computer to semi realistically give you an idea of your expected results . They preface that they can not promise anything and this imaging is erring on the side of caution . Well , the crisalix imaging made me think “if that’s all they can do I’m unsure if it’s worth it “. To me , the imagine was just ok . Not great .
I went home and kept looking at her work , because I knew she was still the best in Michigan . I never consulted with another physician. Even the out of state surgeons I had picked out paled in comparison to her . So , I emailed Kim more inspiration photos and asked If I was unrealistic in how I wanted to look . I said the imaging made me uneasy and I wanted much more . She said you can achieve this ! After a long wait due to covid19 , my surgery was scheduled.
I ended up having a lollipop lift , 300cc silicone implant sub muscle and minor reduction of my own tissue . I did not want to be any bigger than before ! My only ask was as perky as possible . Exact sizing was not important and Dr Ellen was to make all final decisions in the operating room . The day after surgery you are instructed to shower , I told myself not to look in the mirror because I would most likely look horrid . I didn’t want to be upset . As I passed the mirror my side profile shocked me because my breast and nipple tape were so high ! I immediately turned front and could not believe my eyes . My breast looked exactly how I imagined in my dreams . It was unbelievable . To this day , I’m 3 weeks out of surgery , I’m in shock to how perfect my breasts are . My scars are very slim . They look fantastic . The shape , although will continue to change , looks like something out of a magazine . All of my girlfriends who have had their breasts done are in disbelief . I did take Tylenol every 6 hours for the first week to sleep through the night ( upright sleeping and the surgical center made me wear circulation machines on my legs so it was hard to sleep ). There were random days I was exhausted , others I felt fine . Occasionally my breasts ached in every spot imaginable . Some nights when I laid down I could feel the implant move up and it was very uncomfortable . When i would rise in the AM i could feel the implant move back down and also very painful . My muscles felt torn . Although I had those moments of pain , The recovery was much better than I expected . I never took a prescribed pain pill and was never in so much pain I couldn’t sleep . I was cleared after my first post op appointment to sleep on my back or side and do what felt ok . I could not even put pressure on the sides of my breasts due to it being uncomfortable , so sleeping on my side was not an option . I laid on the couch on my side for the first time on day 21. I noticed today while cleaning and applying neosporin my breasts jiggled . They have been very hard and swollen / bruised up until this point , so that’s very exciting ! I’m regaining nipple and breast sensitivity but mostly it’s just painful if the shower stream hits them directly . Overall , I’m thrilled and would do this experience over 100x with Dr.Ellen .

Healing very nicely . In between Embrace strips right now . Waiting on bottom of breasts to fill out more . Haven’t stopped wearing my bra , using lotion often and silicone gel to minimize scaring as best as possible .

I have worn 4 sets of embrace strips so far to help with scar recovery . Sometimes they are insanely itchy , other times they feel fine .i did develop some irritation and blisters under the crease of my breast . That is normal and I’m using silicone scar gel on that and my incisions in between each embrace application . I figure if I can help the scar at all it doesn’t hurt . Still happy with my recovery and breast size , placement , shape and the nipples . I love them so much !
